.......というサイトから予約した際のトラブルです。 １ ベルギーのオスタンドに着いてホテルの予約をしていなかったので、このサイトで19時半にホテルの予約をしました。 2ホテル Alpha に着いたら閉まっていて、オーナーらしき女性が来て、『６時以降はホテルの予約は受け付けません。25euros プラスするなら泊めてやってもいい』と言われました。 3　『じゃぁ、予約は確立されてないんですね？じゃぁ他探します』と出て、他のホテルにチェックイン。 4 　この間にホテルはBook・・ から受け取った確認書を確立させました。　(わざと) 5 五分後予約確認票がmailで来ました。キャンセルは35eurosと書いてあります つまり、ホテルはサイトからの確認票は受け取ってないと伝え、こっそり確立させ、キャンセル料だけ取るつもりだったってこと。 安いホテルだからキャンセル料の方が高いくらいだったし。 ホテルにしたら、働かなくてお金をもらえるのなら、キャンセルさせた方が得。 こっからはお察しのとおり、言い合いになり、結局泣き寝入り35euros払うはめになりました。 かなり、怒ってます。 6時以降は予約を受け付けないなら、サイトでも予約出来ないようにするべき。ちなみにこのＢＯＯＫ・・・はそれはホテルの事情だからと、責任はとらずです。 Main advantages: なし Main disadvantages: デメリットしかなくて、なんともいえません。

Upstairs the water comes in when it rains. In bathroom there is flood everytime after a shower and very bad smell all the time. The doors and windows do not close or open properly. In many rooms the safe does not work. \r\n\r\nThe noise from hallways and other rooms comes all through as the doors and walls are thin. Also there is noise from outside yard, which starts 6 am, when hotel personnel comes to work. Yes the source is from hotel staff! Loud conversations behind your hotel room window early in the morning and late in the evening. They use the hotel yard as a parking lot. You can hear everytime car comes or leaves almost right beside your hotel room. The hotel was half empty, but the manager or the owner did not let us change the room. The hotel is in very peaceful and quiet location but the hotel itself is very noisy. \r\n\r\nManager and hotel owner tell lies and cheats. They try to overcharge\r\nminibar use. They put items on the bill that you havent used. Same\r\nthing when we book a daytrip from the hotel. The price was higher than agreed. All food and drinks in hotel are highly overpriced compared to prices elsewhere in Sri Lanka.\r\n\r\nHotel owner warns that you should not buy drinks or food from local\r\nvendors, because you can get a stomach bug from it. However in one morning in breakfast served at hotel restaurant there was mould in the bread. In one evening many people got diarrhea after eating a dinner in hotel restaurant. Also they warn about the local buses, trains and so on. You can use them without any problems, the hotel just wants that you should book all your transportation through them at much higher prises.\r\n\r\nThere are very high walls around the hotel, like in prison. The hotel\r\nyard and the pool area is very small. Not very nice space to enjoy the\r\nsun and pool. The beach is nearby across the road, but the waves are often so big that there is impossible to swim. Some of local people use the beach as a toilet, because the houses on the beach dont have them.\r\n\r\nThe hotel is in the middle of nowhere. There is absolutely almost\r\nanything near by. No supermarkets or restaurants. Only very small\r\nlocal kiosk, that dont have much to sell. The hotel is about 20 minute\r\ntrip by car from Chilaw. To Marawila is about the same time. To\r\nNegombo the trip takes about one hour.\r\n\r\nWe really loved Sri Lanka, and we are going there again soon, but\r\nnever again to this hotel. First thing was that the person who was working there did not speak any english so I could not voice my problems in a way that would have resulted in satisfaction. A friend who speaks very little German did ask if there was another room and was told no other rooms were available. #1. the room was so infused with smoke that it was disgusting. Everything reeked of it. The bedding, curtains, walls, closet, even the bathroom smelled of it. We asked for new pillows which the cleaning lady did bring. She also brought a bottle of perfum and sprayed around the room. That didn't help it actually made the situation worse. It was so strong with smoke that I woke up three times durring the night coughing from it. #2 We paid for the room that was discribed in our paperwork as you can see in our reservation booking number 478325239 and the room was not at all what it was supposed to be. There was no refrigerator, no mini bar, no hair dryer, no iron, no fan, no video, The shower had no door or even a curtain. There was mildew on the shower walls. There was no place to plug in a hairdryer or curling iron for me to get ready. I could not use the phone to make a credit card call as there was no dial on the phone and was connected through a switchboard at the reception desk and no one was there monitoring it. The double bed took up the entire room, with about 4 inches of space between it and the wall. I felt like I was sleeping in a closet. If there had been any way to locate another place to spend the night I would have done so. Unfortunately we were in a situation where we were not able to do anything. Our friends who were traveling with us, paid the same price for their room as we paid and they had a room that met almost every detail discribed.
