Main disadvantages: The flat screen tv was really small for the size of the room I booked.

Main advantages: Staff was very friendly. Easy check in & check out. Answered any questions I had at any time with no problem. Made me feel right at home. I'm proud to say I stayed in the Hotel Belleclaire.

Main disadvantages: Maybe they could spring for HD.... The TV in the room was fine but with only low definition channels.... Not a big deal, but it would be a nice touch! And while the coffee in the lobby was always fresh and was very good, it would be nice to have the by now expected coffee maker in the room....

Main advantages: I loved it. No frills, but quiet, clean, tastefully and sparely decorated, very nice efficient and friendly staff, and a really comfortable bed. The clientele is a nice mix of couples, young people, foreign tour groups, families. Upper West Side at its best.

Oscar Quito, Ecuador - Rest with children

Main disadvantages: The standard room is way too small. You don''t have were to put a suitcase and clothes. We had to ask for a bigger room which they gave us.

Main advantages: Great location. Staff was very kind. There was a very good Cafe called Cafe Vivand 2 blocks away, on Broadway and 75th street, and breakfast was excellent as well as other meals. 2 subway stations close to the hotel.

Main disadvantages: As is the case in many mid-level hotels, the bathroom looked more appropriate for a low-end motel. This is not always the case at the Belleclaire ( I have stayed there before). In this particular room, however, the bathroom facilities were somewhat grungy given the room rate.

Main advantages: A great location for getting both downtown, further uptown, and Central Park. Very hospitable staff. Simple, comfortable rooms. Good restaurant choices within easy walking distance.

Main advantages: I noticed some nice improvements. Coffee is now provided in the lobby in the morning. It's so nice to be able to have this first thing in the morning. Staff was very nice. I got there early and had to drop of my bags. When I arrived later in the day (and my room was ready) the bellman brought my bags up to my rooms. They brought their game up a notch and it showed.

Main disadvantages: Everything was all right.

Main advantages: The staff was very polite and attentive. The room was nice and clear. Actually I visited NY for The Cure concert at Beacon Theater. The hotel was the best for its location and price.
