Main disadvantages: An issue we encountered had to do with checking out. Due to the holiday weekend, a very large number of guests were all trying to leave around the same time and it took us over 30 minutes just to get an elevator to come to our floor that wasn't already full. Additionally, there were not stairs besides the ones located behind an alarmed door. We felt frustrated and trapped on our floor.

Main advantages: The hotel itself is very nice and is in a very cool old building with a lot of history. The location could not be better. Our room was small but adequate and we got a great price using booking.com. I would stay at the hotel again.

Main disadvantages: The room we had was a great deal but it was very small. The bathroom was small also.

Main advantages: The location was great. We were within walking distance to the Riverwalk, Market Square and The Alamo. The staff was fabulous also. When the bell man was unloading our luggage in our room he noticed that we had beverages that needed to be chilled. He suggested a refrigerator in our room and one was brought up right away. We didnt even know that that was an option.

Main disadvantages: Lack of counter space in the large room. We did not have a bath mat and didn't receive enough washcloths. There was no complimentary coffee and the A/C controls did not work properly.

Main advantages: Very attentive staff. I left my laptop behind and was thrilled to learn that it had been turned in by the housekeeper. They secured it for me and Fed Exed it that afternoon. I was so very grateful.

Main disadvantages: Room wasn't that clean. Drape hems were held together with safety pins. Shower curtain was dirty and needed to be replaced. Room is due for an updating, thorough cleaning.

Main disadvantages: I didn't like the fact that the pool closed at 10:00p.m......that's about it lol...

Main advantages: The rooms are really nice......the hotels right next to the alamo and is literally walking distance from the riverwalk and all downtown's attractions...ild definitely recommend this hotel to anyone......four our of five stars....

Main advantages: Location, location, location. We wanted to stay near the Alamo; it is 14 steps from hotel door to side entrance of Alamo. It is within easy walking distance to Riverwalk. Relative quite, clean, comfortable and staff is excellent: friendly and helpful.
