| Main advantages: The rooms are very nice and confortable and so is the hotel in
general. Very nice terrace for breakfast and dinner with views to the
old city. The service is excellent and also the location, near the
night life center. |

| Main disadvantages: Not really a complaint, but location is a bit tricky for some taxi
drivers - need to ensure you get a copy of the hotel's location written
in Turkish from the hotel as soon as you arrive. |

bathroom products. Service was exceptional - nothing was too much
trouble for us. |

| Main advantages: Everything was perfect !! the location , the staff , the room , the
service and the price !! I loved everthing abt this hotel and thier
staff . I went there for my Honeymoon and I enjoyed my trip from a-Z.
i adivce anyone who is going to Istanbul to stay in this Hotel and ask for Sinan or Aslan , they are very helpful and speak flunet english (which is rare in Turkey) |

Good restaurant with lovely view.
Large Bedroom with luxurious bathroom. Breakfast room rather depressing so went up very steep hill to the main street where there is a comfortable old fashioned cafe serving an excelent breakfast. Print out directions for the taxi and get them to ring the hotel as very few know how to find it and most of them will always take you the longest way possible.
Navette is worth using as at least you don't get ripped off and the main sites are not that close.
Go for a drink at the top of the Marmara Hotel - incredible views. |

| Main disadvantages: Few options for breakfast, slow internet connection (but it was for
free!!), missing spa... That would make the hotel perfect. At first they
gave us room 17 (avoid it absolutely!!!) but then we were upgraded for a
larger and very nice room on 3rd floor. Restaurant nice but overpriced
(especially wines). Not easy to locate for taxi drivers (bring a map to
show the location) |

trendy area of Taksim. Rooms are quite clean and new. Friendly and
efficient staff. Very nice views from roof terrace of the restaurant.

| Main disadvantages: Room facing a road that has a busy bus stop and school so children can be noisy even with windows shut. Despite this booking arrangements say your room is facing a garden. |
| Main advantages: Great bathroom and facilities, great space, very comfortable bed and sheets, proximity to water; location is good little spot and nice change for us as we stayed at the Sultanhamet the nights before. |

| Main advantages: The whole ambiance was welcoming and luxurious. I arrived early in the morning and the reception staff apologised that I was unable to have a room immediately because they had been fully booked. I was shown to the terrace for some coffee and juice and my room was available within 90 minutes. My suite was an enormous L-shaped space and beautifully designed and furnished. It was so large that I suspect I was upgraded from the Deluxe suite I booked. The bed was extremely comfortable. The view across to the old city from the terrace while breakfasting each morning was stunning and the breakfast delicious. The free wifi was a bonus. The area was safe for a single female traveller even at night. |
