| Main advantages: It was really a good experience to stay at The Marmara Pera Hotel. I
liked the staff, my room was great , had a perfect view of Boğaz,
Bosphoros and city. I've enjoy it with my wine. Comfortable and good

| Main disadvantages: The Marmara Pera seems to have problems with Air conditioning / Air
Circulation. Even though we asked for a non smoking room the air smelled
like we just smoked in there. We even woke up because of that. This has
to be fixed |

| Main advantages: An excellent experience.
Location right in the middle of Istiklal avenue made it easy for us to walk and wander - literally around the clock . At halfway between Taksim Square and Galata ; walking among the crowd is a joy in itself. A 10 minute drive for 13TL is all it takes to get to the Sultanahmed heritage area.
The Marmara staff were nothing but helpful, friendly and sociable. A fairly good breakfast buffet is offered, and for smokers; they dedicated the full first floor rooms ! Rooms are clean, modern but with a bit of a small bathroom. Overall, no luxury, yet no glitches ! |

| Main disadvantages: staff didn't have good recommendations and help with places to go and how exactly to get there. They should be more versed in this and be more helpful. the bell man was more helpful

| Main disadvantages: My only complaint was that the pillow was far too fluffy and did not
give..so it ended up that your head rested too high giving me some
discomfort at night and a slight neckache in the morning. |

| Main advantages: The location of the hotel is very convenient as it has a taxi station in front of the entrance. In addition the hotel is located next to istiklal street which is an area that has lots of shops and restaurants as well as some tourist attractions. |

| Main disadvantages: i don't have any complaints a bout this hotel, but sometimes i feel the recieption guys aren't that welcoming but i guess it's a kind of the natural life style of turkish people, i don't mind about that at all but maybe few world travellers feels it's not welcoming. so it's a good experience i had. |
| Main advantages: i liked the location, the free wireless internet in rooms (but it was kinda slow using the wifi, the cable is the best and it's all free of charge), i like their in-room menu (specially the salmon and spinach) and how they respond to my requirement, clean rooms and calm atmosphere. istiqlal street is 3 minutes away (if not less). |

| Main advantages: What an amazing hotel! Amazing views and very spacious rooms. We have stayed for 3 nights and it was the best we could get for our first time in Istanbul. Very good price for its service and quality. The staff were very helpful and friendly and they would assist you on any matter. The roof-top bar with the swimming pool has the best views anyone can experience in Istanbul...and the main shopping avenue that leads to Taksim sq. is only a few meters away! Thank you Marmara Pera staff...we look forward in seeing you again! |

| Main advantages: The hotel is in the perfect position to live the town. The Mikla restaurant is one of the best in town and the view is amazing. The staff is very nice. The bathroom is small, not very clean, the towels are old and not always in the right number. |

| Main advantages: very nice located. great staff. nice rooms with view. it is 4 starts but you can see that it is managed by a big hotel chain. services are 5 stars. In Istanbul most 4 star hotels provide the minimum requirements (such as a very inconvenient swimming pool of the size of a bathtube) to get 4 starts. This one is different. |
