Main disadvantages: Toilets too close to the shower. water floods into the bathroom from the shower stalls, staff can be lax in customer service i.e. informing us where breakfast is etc.
Main advantages: Breakfast was fantastic - wonderful views off the breakfast terrace and excellent buffet selection. Excellent hotel location - close to all major amenities, including tramway system, taxi stops, bazaars and several major tourist sites. Free wi-fi - major bonus not offered at major hotels like Sheraton or Meridian. Rooms are decent - we stayed four people and got two joined rooms with one queen and two double beds - relatively comfortable and clean.

Main disadvantages: Our bathroom door did not shut properly, and the room was a bit small but no other issues.

Main disadvantages: The rooms were quite small and there was no rim around the shower, which means that the bathroom was inundated everytime we took a shower but it's fine once you get the technique.
Main advantages: Very friendly staff and perfect location just across the street from the blue mosque. The rooms were very small but clean. Ideal for a short stay.

Main advantages: The location is excellent and the price is reasonable. Breakfast is relatively good, however the offer everyday is the same but the view is fantastic. Very convinient to many interest points all in walking distance. The bed is also comfortable and they change bedding everyday. The staffs are all very nice. In all, this is an ideal place for a short period of stay, in particular with affordable price.

Main disadvantages: Some noise until late mid-night from touristic street where our room's windows opens to.
Main advantages: Great location. Good (but basic) breakfast is serving on the roof with view to Marmara and Sultanahmed.

Main disadvantages: Unfortunately, because of our early flight to Trabzon we had no chance to enjoy a breakfast in a terrace
Main advantages: Fascinated and one of the best location in Istanbul for 1 night stay: easy access from Ataturk Airport, 2 min walk from tram stop; 4 min walk to reach the Blue Mosque; well-educated recreationalist, who was very friendly and helpful.

Main disadvantages: The sink in the first room we had was broken and it was a street view a bit noisy. But they changed us for a room with a view to the Blue Mosque. Can't really complain. Night life is a bit quite in this area.
Main advantages: Not luxurious but clean and comfortable and the location is perfect to discover Istanbul. The Blue Mosque, Saint Sophie, the tram, the info center are 1min walk. The Grand Bazaar, Turkish bath, Topkapi and the port are 5/10min walk. The staff was really nice and helpful. It was good value for money.

Main disadvantages: Do not stay here if you want to sleep before midnight because the nearby bar/restaurant is noisy with music playing until then which keeps you awake. The shower in the bathroom was broken when we arrived and I think the bathroom is a little badly maintained.
Main advantages: Very central location - you can walk to all the tourist attractions.
