Main disadvantages: A bit noisy at night because of the nearby restaurants, but with closed windows it was ok.

Main advantages: Nice and friendly hotel, very close to historical monuments. The tram station is very close to the hotel if you want to go to the other side of the city.

Main advantages: Very clean room, comfortable bed, good service. Hotel is 1 minute walk from tram-station and 7 minutes walk from Aay Sofia, Basilica, Blue Mosque, 7 minutes to Galata Bridge. Good breakfast - several kinds of bred, cheese, sausage, fruits.

Main disadvantages: The benefit of having restaurants and bars close by is that the noise keeps going after you've stoped. It wasn't enough to bother us, but if you were light sleeper it may be an issue. The 'enthusiasm' of the staff at the restaurant was often so lacking in sincerity that it made us wince.

Main advantages: Hotel Agan is perfectly situated close to restaurants and cafes, transport, and major tourists sites (the Blue Mosque, Haigha Sophia, Topkapi Palace, Museums etc). The staff are young and helpful, and the attached restaurant (although very pricey) serves excellent food. Even if you just stop for a drink before finding somewhere else to eat locally it's a relaxing place to watch others pass by.

Miguel Salinas de Pamplona, Spain - Rest with children

Main disadvantages: There are more hotels, bars and restaurants in the aerea so it could be a bit noisy during the nights. The point is that you get to the room so tired that you will not have problems for sleep. I did not have at least.

Main advantages: The best of the hotel is its situation, very near from the main points of interest in Sultanhamet. 5 minutes walking to Aya Sofia and the Blue mosk. More over it has a good price, the rooms are clean (but even a bit small), and the hotel staff is very friendly. It´s a good choice if you don´t want to waste many money, you want a clean room and to be in the center.
