Main disadvantages: Lighting was dim and difficult to read by. Tiny Gym, needs to be bigger. Concierge was not terribly knowledgeable and were slow to find locations I asked for but they were friendly and tried.

Main advantages: Location excellent-one of the best I have had. This alone was worth it. Breakfast was outstanding and the restaruant was beautiful. Great way to start the day. Views form my room were spectacular. Beds were very comfy. Nice lounge for reading.

Main disadvantages: The furniture and furnishings were a little shabby but not too bad. Nescafe sachets and tea selection was not to our liking, so we bought our own tea bags from a nearby shop. Apart from breakfast we could not eat other meals in the hotel as there was nothing vegetarian on the menu.

Main advantages: We liked the size of the room (large) with sofa seating area and also a nice sunny balcony for sitting out with a view over the medieval rooftops of Gamla Stan. We had an executive room and having seen some standard room sizes in Stockholm previously I think it was good value for money to pay extra. We had a kettle in the room. The bathroom was particularly clean and bedding/towels were changed daily. We enjoyed the buffet breakfast a lot.

Main disadvantages: they advistised a swimminpool, we just found an cold minimal splash tub. all gym equipment not working, and that was not mentioned anywhere before we went down to work out. ie they advertised a gym but we could not work out. ie questinonable marketing again. gym equipment also seemed cheap and fragile so no surprise. Staff were generally very good, but when asking for help with bags down from room we got the answer "thats a bit complicated", with many bags, pram and baby thats not what you quite expect as service level.

Main advantages: great location, feels boutique but has benefits of a larger hotel. we upgraded to a niceroom with a great sauna. they also suppliied a baby bed which was good. Nice hotel in general and Gamla stan jbehind the corner.

Main disadvantages: Air con didn't work in our room - though this didn't matter too much in Stockholm climate. Still, it would have been nice sometimes.

Main advantages: Pleasant accommodation, nice staff, attractive buffet breakfast. Location convenient for Old Town, ferries, and more. Historic building on waterfront.

Rami Oulu, Finland - Rest with children

Main disadvantages: Information from the web got us to think that breakfast to the rooms was included in the price, but it actually wasn't. Thanks to stuff this was solved out and we enjoyed and good breakfast in the restaurang.

Main advantages: Very helpfull and nice staff in the lobby and in the restaurang, extremely good location to visit the Stockholms old town and Djurgården areas, cosy room, good and broad breakfast and possibility to leave luggage for a while in the hotel after we had written out from.

Main disadvantages: The rooms could use a little update. We had a deluxe room and the carpet and chairs where tired.

Main advantages: The location is excellent for seeing the palace and old town. shopping and food of all types are available in a 10 min walk. Perfect place for the 2 or three day trip to the city. Staff is very helpful.

William Brussels, Belgium - Rest with children

Main disadvantages: Hotel bar being used as a noisy discotheque on Friday and Saturday nights. Main dining room too small for all guests and being obliged to eat breakfast sitting at the bar.

Main advantages: Excellent location. Helpful staff. Pleasant room with good facilities.
