Main advantages: Great location and stunning views over the bay and sea. The season was just coming to an end 30/10/11 so some of the shops/restaurants were closing for winter. Sol e Mar has had mixed reviews but we enbjoyed ourselves very much. Would definately go back

Main advantages: Sol e mar great location, breakfast not very nice, staff could smile more and be more friendly. Not a 4 star hotel but would go back as location brill, but would only stay on room only basis, very clean.

Main disadvantages: Don't eat in the sunset restarant. I ordered chicken in there. It was raw in the centre, with blood running out of it. I pointed it out to the waiter who shrugged his shoulders and asked if I was having dessert & coffee. Some chance! He threw the chicken straight in the bin, with no reference to the chef! I got the impression that it was an everyday occurrance!

Main advantages: Ideal position-right on beach, and in centre of town. Good balconeys overlooking beach. Breakfasts ok.

Main disadvantages: No wifi in the rooms. Only in the lobby.

Main advantages: The hotel was perfectly situated in the old town of albufiera. Amenities are superb and as someone who was reveling over Portugal staying all kinds of hostels it was nice staying in a hotel that was both fair priced and close to the beach.

Main disadvantages: The small televisions perched high on corner wall were really hard on the eyes.

Main advantages: We were pleased with the hotel, excellent location right on beach with very easy access. Sea view in all rooms. Staff very friendly, clean comfortable rooms. Lovely spacious bar and live music. Plenty of nice restaurants and shops nearby. There was a fridge in the room but alas no coffee maker.
