Main disadvantages: Poor value for money - this is not a five-star hotel. The room was not
as clean as it should have been and could use a refursbishment. What is
more, the hotel staff was unable to correctly charge me the requested
amount and they did not cancel the guarantee. When I wrote them about
the pending transaction, instead of canceling it, they registered the
guarantee again, leaving me with no alternative but to get in touch with
my bank; three weeks after my stay at Eurostars and the transactions are
still in pending...
Main advantages: Very comfortable beds; room design - interesting choice of colors;
excellent breakfast.

Main disadvantages: Room was on street side of the hotel on 1st floor and although the
street was quiet most of the time, refuse collectors woke us at 4am each
day as did the other building activity outside. Windows may be double
glazed, but not good quality glazing in that case.
Breakfast room not big enough when hotel is full.
Main advantages: Shower was wet room, and much appreciated. Comfortable beds, goodish
size room.

Main disadvantages: Nice breakfast but for 7 days not even a single change of the menu....Could have a larger variety. The 2 elevators too busy or out of order so we had to wait quite a long time.
Main advantages: Excellent central location ...Very quiet, the hotel staff very polite and helpfull, we got a complimentary surprise from the hotel for my birthday aniversary

walking!
Main advantages: The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was large and
bathroom amazing with huge shower. Nice area to sit in the bar after day

Main advantages: Modern, stylish hotel in central Lisbon. With hardwood floors, a king
bed, and a flat screen tv, the room looked more like a modern condo than
a hotel room. The room also had a balcony with excellent views of
downtown Lisbon, including the castle. Great hotel, will stay there
again next time I visit Lisbon.

Main disadvantages: The only thing I would recommend to the hotel in improving its service
is to provide a vehicle at the bottom of the hill (where there is a
restaurant serving seafood) that a tired guest, after a full day of
walking, can use it to go up the steep hill comfortably.
Main advantages: The staff are generally helpful with good manners. The front desk staff
are very patient in answering questions about the city of Lisbon and are
capable of giving accurate directions and points of interest in the city
to the enquirers who are usually tourist to Lisbon. They also recommend
different tours to the guest after enquiring what would he or she like
to see. I only had breakfasts in the hotel and the meals are good. The
waiters/waitresses are efficient and very polite. The food is quite
good. The room I had was clean and tastfully decorated. It was very
quiet in the night time. Overall the hotel is good to excellent with a
reasonable price.

Main disadvantages: Everything was terrific but the 18 euro breakfast was too pricey for
our tastes.
Main advantages: The hotel staff were fantastic - the best we had in 16 days in Spain and
Portugal. The rooms were luxurios and the location is great. We were
able to find free parking right in front of the hotel. Perfect way to
end a wonderful trip!

Main disadvantages: We had no wifi coverage in our room using our iphone, however we were
happy to sit in the bar area and take advantage of the free niblies that
came with our drinks and the fantastic service. The shower, whilst
beautiful, is small - room only for one. If you are after a meal in the
hotel, the restaurant does not open at night - you can choose from the
small selection of light meals available in the bar, but as this hotel
is such a short stroll to the inner city, you are better advised to walk
there and dine in one of the many restaurants in the old town.
Main advantages: Wow! This hotel is fabulous - a true representation of 5star hotels. I
was a bit dubious that a 5star hotel was so reasonably priced, but I
needn´t have been. The staff are very helpful and friendly, and all
speak English very well. The hotel lobby is beautiful and has plenty of
lounges to sit in, and a small bar area which also serves light meals in
the evening (by a very friendly and polite gentleman whose name I
unfortunatley did not get). The room is enormous and contemporary. I
requested a large bed when I made the booking as my husband is over 6ft
and when I emailed a month before our arrival to confirm our booking,
the hotel very quickly responded and advised they would give us a king
bed, which they certainly did. The gym is well equipped, and the
breakfast is fantastic - a huge variety of cold meats and cheeses, bacon
and eggs, cereals, pastries (you must try the Portugese pastries!!!).
Parking is underground, very secure, and reasonably priced.

Main disadvantages: Only very little points to improve: despite the quality breakfast, spanish ham was a bit hard and orange juice was concentrated and not freshly squeezed (sorry to be posh but it's a 5 stars hotel!); no agreeement with flight points programme (although they say they are working on it);
Main advantages: All the hotel staff was extremely nice and polite (special mention for the evening lady), they booked our restaurants, taxis, etc.; polyglot (they were able to spoke english, spanish and of course portuguese!); breakfast amazing (specially queixo Serra da Estrela and bolinhos); cleaning staff very efficient and respectul (made our room while out for breakfast); room tastefully decorated with great views of old town and Sao Jorge castle; free wifi in the hotel and rooms; for english people, you will be delighted with the range of teas; in overall, an unforgeatable stay;
