Main disadvantages: Very small room. There was a table, but you couldn't sit at it since the bed was up against it and there was no chair. Shower leaked water onto bathroom floor. Low water pressure. Warm water, but not hot water. Had to leave room key at reception.

Main advantages: Great location overlooking park with views of mountains, 5 minute walk to bus or downtown if you take the shortcuts through the park. Excellent Wifi signal. Affordable.

Main disadvantages: The biggest improvement that could be made to this hotel would be the installation of a lift. We knew when we booked that there wasn't one but hope they put one in before our next visit.

Main advantages: Very helpful staff. When we made a booking for a trip that started early in the morning they offered to prepare a take away breakfast, which we found to be enough for lunch aswell. The included buffet breakfast for the rest of week was also very good with lots of choice of both hot and cold food. The views of the mountains from the hotel were fantastic. The location was perfect, an easy walk from the station and the town centre and the Gubalowka Funicular railway.

Roy Harrow on the Hill, United Kingdom - Rest with children

Main advantages: Stayed here 3 separate times now and it is a nice hotel for the price. The outside is a little grey / tired, but the staff are great. the breakfast is good and if you are getting a twin or double room, then you get a fantastic view of the Tatras through massive windows (I think the single rooms overlook the car park at the back). Will continue to stay here when I return to Zakopane.

Helena Londonderry County Borough, United Kingdom - Individual tour

Main disadvantages: There was a funfair and concert going on outside our bedroom (in the park) which was very noisy until about 10pm. Not a problem for us and probably only happening in August when we were there. Room was a little shabby, but ok considering the cost.

Main advantages: Great view of the mountains from the window.good location close to town and close to bus station, good if you want to get into the mountains. Quiet and peaceful hotel. Word of warning: there are no lifts, which shouldn't bother you if you're on an activity holiday! Would recommend if you want a cheap base for your activity holiday.

Main advantages: Great location,short walk into town.The staff were very helpful,couldn't do enough for us.Fantastic restaurant at hotel and a great breakfast in the morning.Free computer for internet in foyer which was very handy.Would recommend this hotel to all.

Main advantages: Hotel Helios is around 5 min walk from Krupowki street, the main street in Zakopane and very close to railway station. Location is perfect. Quite good value for money.
