Main advantages: Excellent rooms and facilities. Buffet breakfast was excellent at 15 zloty! 5 minute walk to the market. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Zakopane.

Main disadvantages: We could not get access to Wi-Fi in our apartment in both rooms - only in one and near the window.

Main advantages: Apartment Jan is the best choice for those who want to live near the main tourist street [10-15min walking] There was ideal view out of the window - High Tatras.

Main disadvantages: Wi-fi didn't work in our room, we had to go downstairs to use it.

Main advantages: Fantastic view of the mountains, good to have a small (basic) kitchen so you can make your own meals. It's about a 10-15 minute walk to the main street. Owner speaks enough English to get you by.

Main disadvantages: The towels Were a bit rough.

Main advantages: The apartment was clean and the view of the mountains off the balcony was worth the stay. The breakfast at 15 zl was well worth it. Our host explained when we arrived that Apartamenty Jan was not a hotel, so our expectations of staff was kept in perspective of that statement. We were only a 15 minute walk from Krupowki street and a half hour walk from the train station. We had no problems during our stay and everything was as advertised.

Main disadvantages: The Hotel could be better signed from the road.

Main advantages: Based on price this was excellent value for money. Only a five minute walk from the centre of town. Rooms, breakfast and service was good and friendly.

Main disadvantages: The sauna in our block wasn't working but we could go over to the main block so that was fine

Main advantages: The location to the slopes is just a small walk. We walked into town but got taxis back at a cost of 20PLN which was well worth it. The rooms themselves where clean and fitted our purpose as a group. The views are breath taking

Christopher Zakopane, Poland - Individual tour

Main disadvantages: We had no complaints everything was perfect.

Main advantages: Our second stay at Apartamenty Jan proved to be as delightful as our first. Our apartment was very large,with a roomy separate bathroom, a good sized kitchenette and plenty of storage space for clothes etc. Two balconies allowed breathtaking views of the surrounding snow-capped hills and mountains. An early morning coffee in our apartment was magical as we watched the light and mist change on the mountains opposite. Once again the buffet-breakfast was of excellent quality and quantity. The sauna proved to be great fun.
