Main advantages: Good location, Nice family setting, fair breakfast, good high tea, all comprehencive. A good feeling in general of the general ols style Norvegian environment. Friendly.

Main disadvantages: We could find no fault with this hotel at all.

Main advantages: The staff were extremely helpful and very pleasant. The room was very comfortable and spacious and the hotel had a good feel to it. The breakfast buffet was good and there was plenty of choice in both hot and cold food. The evening buffet was an excellent idea, when you arrive in a city and don't know anywhere it was good to be able to eat at the buffet. Eating out in Norway is expensive and we felt that this was excellent value and we have recommended it to friends both in Norway and in the uk. We would certainly return.

Main advantages: Location of the hotel was very convenient. The room was comfortable and quiet. The free evening buffet was great, with plenty of choice (Meats, cheese, salads, breads, soup etc) An the coffee was great (a nice addition).

Main advantages: The hotel staff was extremly helpfull special in a serious problem that we had, the room was spacious, quite, but very simple, the breakfast was not so good, the evening buffet was satisfied, the patio where we have the brekfast was very nice, the location was very good,

Main disadvantages: The rooms facing the other hotel, especially facing the outdoor smoking area of the other hotel should not be used except when necessary and the guests should be informed about the problems with these rooms.

Main advantages: The first night we were in a first floor room facing the hotel across the street. It was very noisy all night and in the morning we asked to be changed to another room and there was no problem and the staff was very cooperative about this. A nice and warm atmosphere in the hotel and the evening meal was an extra delight especially being two older women traveling alone. A good sense of security and good and simple food.

Main advantages: The building (an old bakery) will appeal to anybody interested in buildings with a story to tell. The show cases reveal the past history of this charming hotel which will please visitors who like hotels with personality, but there is also a timelessness at the hotel that encourages people to take it easy. The breakfast area (a glass covered interior courtyard) is delightful and the choice of food caters for the tastes of everybody. The afternoon waffles are a nice touch and the evening buffet saves all the hassle of having to go out to find somewhere to eat. The hotel is located centrally in a quiet area within easy walking distance of anywhere in Trondheim. The staff are efficient and courteous and I shall certainly return here. I have been to Trondheim several times, this is definitely my favourite Trondheim hotel.
