| Main advantages: Nice, quiet location, not too far from city centre (10 mins on tram -
right outside hotel). Close to the zoo and botannical gardens, so good
for kids. Our room (no 2) was big, beds comfy, bathroom good, little
balcony. Breakfast room was nicely styled, big, comfy and breakfast was
great. Reception was helpful and open all night. |

| Main disadvantages: Like many hotels in Amsterdam there is no lift, so take that in
consideration if you´re traveling with a lot of luggage. |
| Main advantages: The hotel is really nice, very close to everything you need in Amsterdam
but still in a quiet zone (you can take the Tram just in front). The
room was great (even in the third floor), very comfortable and with a
lot of facilities. The staff was amazing and very helpful with
everything we needed. |

| Main disadvantages: Low water pressure at the 3-d floor. |
| Main advantages: Hotel located closer to Amsterdam central at the old style building. You may feel how you can live at the city center. Very nice decoration. It is super choice for "**" ranking hotel, I think. |

| Main disadvantages: My only suggestion regards the door in the garden room leading to the
outside. It was glass-paneled with single lock and a barely functioning
venetian blind covering it. It didn't seem as secure as I would have
liked as the blind, in my opinion, didn't provide adequate privacy. I
don't think anyone else used the garden but the lack of window coverage
at this door plus the limited security on the lock (I did remove the key
ay night) did make me a little uneasy. Perhaps a better blind or frosted
glass would help? Otherwise our stay ay this hotel was extremely
comfortable - we're planning on a return visit. |
| Main advantages: My son loved the breakfast experience - amazing room and delicious food
to start the day with. Staff were incredibly helpful and very polite,
thank you. Our room was very comfortable and clean. The free wifi was a
bonus for me :) |

| Main disadvantages: if anything.. the quadroom downstairs is more like a family room. the twin beds were a little bit smaller than usual (if you are taller than 170cm your feet will hang out the bed...) nonetheless it's still very comfy and we had a good sleep. |
| Main advantages: staff was very helpful! we had to check out very early in the morning which was very quick. they ordered us a taxi and let us check in for our flights late in the night. we will come back again :) |

| Main disadvantages: The price was a little steep, but that is common in Amsterdam! |
| Main advantages: The location is great, only a 10 minute walk to Rembrant's former
house, and the city centre beyond that. Also, the staff at Hotel
Rembrant were very friendly and helpful, printing out my boarding pass
for me and leaving a bottle of wine in my room when they heard that it
was my birthday. Also, the room was very clean and comfortable. |

| Main disadvantages: The only thing in the hotel that i didn't like was the strom of the double bed who was too soft for my taste . I slept to the single bed where the strom was better . Also the hotel has no elevator like the most of the hotels in Amsterdam. |
| Main advantages: This hotel was an excellent choice for our 4 days in Amsterdam. Our triple room was big ,sunny, comfortable and very clean .The stuff of the hotel was great, very kind and so helpful. They gave us all the detail we want for the city walks, they help us with the roots and they also helps us to book tickets for the museums .The decoration of the hotel is nice especially the breakfast room which is a big old Victorian room ! |

| Main disadvantages: Couple small negatives: 1. no elevator, so had to drag our suitcases up and down the stairs; 2. our room overall quite small...but other rooms are larger; |
| Main advantages: This hotel was easy to get to - tram # 9 from the Central Train station, and then the stop was right across the street from the hotel. There was also a large grocery store located about a 10 minute walk away where we could purchase breakfast and lunch items and snacks. The hotel has a mini-fridge which was handy for keeping these items in. Room was a bit small..but typical for Europe - the bed was a larger double - comfortable enough for 2 people. There is no air-conditioning...but we had a large window that we could open up for fresh air. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at this hotel, and would recommend it to friends. |

| Main advantages: The hotel is very close to the city central, and we got the room downstairs with the lovely balcony. Big spacious room, good bathroom, comfortable bed, nice furniture, and once again, location is perfect for Amsterdam sight-seeing. Car parking is a problem tho, there is a garage next door, but a bit pricy. Which is fair enough, city central are always trouble with car. |

| Main disadvantages: We had two couples staying in a room for 4, and one couple had to stay on a sofa bed. The room seemed a bit noisy because the beds were rather squeaky and the wooden floors echoed sounds. I knew ahead of time that the hotel didn't have an elevator, but I still got a little tired of taking the stairs by the end of my visit. |
| Main advantages: The hotel is absolutely beautiful. My room was very spacious and artfully decorated. The hotel is steps from a tram stop, about a mile from the train station, and a block from the Amsterdam zoo. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My room included a mini-fridge, a hot water pot, and complimentary coffee/tee. I ate breakfast at the hotel my last morning, and the dining room was gorgeous! The breakfast offered a nice variety and quality of food and coffee. |

| Main advantages: I wanted a roof over my head for one day in a conveniently-placed location (along the 14 line), and while youth hostels were cheaper they were demanding at least two days, so I really got more than I was looking for. The room and facilities were clean. There was a working television with BBC 2, among others. The staff were ready to help with carrying heavy bags up the long, narrow staircase. |

| Main disadvantages: The fact that there's no lift was a problem since we were put on the 3rd floor for the first night, carry cases up there was soemthing of an ordeal. |
| Main advantages: It's location, the fact that it was on a tram route into the city made it a fantastic location - the entertainment part of Amsterdam was only 10 mins away. |

| Main disadvantages: Wifi didn't work, as often in hotels that provide supposedly free wifi.Networks were visible but you couldn't obtain an ip on any of them. Theowner didn't have a clue and thought (which is understandable) that itworked since the computer in th lobby was connected ok. |
| Main advantages: Large room, equipped with kettle etc. bathroom was nice too. Armchairsin the room too, really plenty of space. Very quiet. |
