| Main disadvantages: .There was only one bedside lamp. |
| Main advantages: The staff were very helpful with information and service. We had to
bring our car from England as we brought some things for our son who is
staying in Amsterdam. We did not want to use the car over the weekend so
it was very good to be able to leave it in the hotel car park and we
thought that the charge was reasonable.. Also the hotel Bike Hire was
very easy and we hired four bikes to get us round Amsterdam.
The breakfast was very good and the hotel was for us in a convenient location within walking distance of supermarkets, shops and tram stops. Staff always able to give assistance to us first time visitors. |

| Main disadvantages: Teatray in room would be nice! |
| Main advantages: Great location near tram stop. Good breakfast, scrambled eggs, cold
meats, cheeses, bread , Toasts etc etc. Small bedrooms as is normal in a
city of tall thin canalside houses!. Helpful staff. Luggage storage for
firsr and last day. Woild stay here again. Ps lift was working. |

| Main advantages: The price was reasonable, and the room we had was more than adequate, but it was obvious that there were rooms that were difficult to access for seniors with baggage.... particularly on the 4th floor. Great hotel for the travelling backpacker, and younger set. Close enough to the canal traffic to be instantly on tour. Continental breakfast was more than adequate, and was a pleasant change from the austerity found in London. |

| Main disadvantages: Because there was no air conditioning we needed to have the window open
which made it a bit noisy but it wasn't unbearably noisy.. |
| Main advantages: The location was excellent. The hotel was on the jump on and off bus
route, which was fantastic. It was a 15min walk to the Van Gogh and
Reijksmuseum, which was good. The breakfast was great. There was plenty
of food and a good range. We had a twin room with ensuite. It wasn't a
large room but the bathroom was very well maintained and cleaned daily,
with fresh towels provided daily. |

| Main disadvantages: They need to be more careful with the linen and towels. Although the bathroom and the room were kept clean, the linen left something to be desired. They were clean, but a couple of towels seemed to have rust spots on them and the comforter had what looked like burn marks. |
| Main advantages: Its location: within walking distance to the main museums of Amsterdam and with a tram stop nearby to take us to the rest of the city. The room was comfortable and the stairs not very steep and narrow! Breakfast selection was good |

| Main disadvantages: Try to avoid having a room near reception, we were constantly awoken by people talking so near our room at all hours and it was quite annoying! |

| Main disadvantages: Moody staff with the breakfast, small kitchen. You are allowed to smoke in the room.Steep steps, but if you are young you just find it funny. |
| Main advantages: Lovely big room, comfortable, clean bed and luxuory bathroom with a big big bath. Best location, easy to walk up to town by the canal. Peaceful and friendly, good for relaxing before you get in to the busy center.Nice breakfast, but small kitchen.Value for money, we found it cheapest great place around.Friendly, helpful receptionist. They clean the room daily.Safe.We just loved it as a young couple. |
