Hotel Heemskerk is the smallest 3 star hotel in Amsterdam.
All our rooms are different, and decorated in the authentic style.
Our comfortable family hotel is situated in a historical building designed in the architectural style of the "Amsterdamse School".
We are located in the beautiful and quiet surroundings of the museum area where you will find the Van Gogh Museum and the Rijks Museum at the recently renovated "Museumplein".
The famous Vondelpark is just around the corner. For some exiting nightlife you can visit the Leidseplein, at only 10 minutes walking distance.
The RAI Congress Centre is easy to reach by foot or public transport.

All beds are pocket spring beds of best quality, since we have 9 rooms we let you have no ordinary hotel beds, we bought the bests and most comfortable .
Food & Beverage
Breakfast is served from 08:00 until 10:00. It may be possible, on request, to have breakfast before 08:00.
There are several restaurants in the hotel's surroundings, such as the Bark fish restaurant and de Knijp, a Dutch restaurant. They can be reached in 5 minutes from the hotel and are open every day until midnight. You can find Dutch food as well as original Italian, Indonesian, Japanese and Chinese restaurants nearby and they are also open daily.
Area information
The personal attention that the hotel aims to provide will give you sense of having the highest priority. The hotel offers all services possible and provides information about the local area and nearby attractions. The hotel will be happy to book you one of several excursions, by private coach or by bus.
Travel information
By Car:
- If you take the motorway to Amsterdam, follow the A10 ring road.
- Follow directions for S108 and take the Amstelveen (S108) exit.
- Turn right at the traffic light and follow the Amstelveenseweg.
- You will pass the "Olympic Stadion" on your left-hand side, turn right and then left at the next traffic lights.
- Drive straight ahead until you see a roundabout. Take the 2nd street on your right (Cornelis Krusemanstraat), this street turns into de Lairessestraat.
- At about 2 km, you will see a green cross on the corner on your left (the 2nd bank). Turn left for Jacob Obrechtstraat, then take the first street right and first street right again.
Parking:
The car park is located at the front of the hotel (chargeable). You will also have to pay to park in Amsterdam (we are in a middle price rate area of the city). However, we advise you to park at the Olympiaplein for a small charge per day and you can also receive a free tram ticket. We can give you further information upon check-in at the hotel.
By Public Transport:
From Schiphol Airport, you can take a taxi. You can also take the train to Station Zuid (South), and from Station Zuid, you take tram number 5 until the Concert Gebouw (6th tram stop). We are behind this Concert Gebouw.
You can also take bus number 370 from Schiphol Centre until the Concert Gebouw. A single ticket costs you EUR 3.60. Get off at the museum square hotel (Museumplein), this street is parallel to our street.
From the Central Station, you can take a taxi for EUR 16. You can also take the tram numbers 5 or 16. Number 5 stops in front of the Concert Gebouw. Number 16 stops at the side of the Concert Gebouw.
