Hotel de Westertoren is located only steps away from Dam Square and a 10-minute walk from Amsterdam Central Station. Each room has coffee and tea facilities and free Wi-Fi. De Westertoren has rooms for up to 6 people, all with a private shower. Some rooms have a shared toilet located in the hallway. Main advantages: Everything... The staff is amazing... The location is the best in Amsterdam, in a historical building featured in postcards... The room was great for the price and came with a million-dolar view. Could not hope for anything else... It was just excepcionally great!

Main advantages: Our stay at the hotel was fantastic! 7 Friends shared 2 rooms and we enjoyed every minute of our stay. Rooms were great, cleaned and maintained every morning, staff were very friendly and the super quick FREE WiFi was a bonus!!! Breakfast served to your room, the best alarm clock! Location is 5 min walk from dam square so location is perfect! Will 100% be using this hotel again!

Main advantages: The Hotel is very interesting! When you come in, you'll see old middle centures stair which was covered by red velvet and nice pussycat is walking along it. Location is perfect, 3 minute walk distance from dam square. Room is very small but it is part of atmosphere! Room is clean and cozy. Breakfast will be bring to you directly to room. Our room has a balcony and view is amazing! You can see royal palace, you can hear bells of two churches. And finally hotel is very value for that money.

Main advantages: The staff were lovely and very helpful whenever we had questions. The room was always extremely clean and presentable and the buffet breakfast daily was delicious! Incredibly happy with this hotel and I will definitely stay again if I get the chance.

Main disadvantages: Essential lacks aren't present. Very abrupt ladder - for elderly and invalids won't approach. Существенных недостатков нет. Очень крутая лестница - для пожилых и инвалидов не подойдёт.

Main advantages: Hotel for the cost simply excellent. Conveniently for acquaintance to a city. I recommend. Отель за свою стоимость просто отличный. Удобно для знакомства с городом. Рекомендую.

Deneen , - Business trip

Main disadvantages: In our second room, we shared a toilet so did not have a hairdryer. The website should probably mention there is a cat, as if you are seriously allergic, I could see it being a problem. If you just don't like cats, just ignore her.

Main advantages: I stayed here twice on my recent trip and had previously stayed at another hotel in the same strip. This hotel is an excellent value, giving you tv, breakfast, and a balcony in some rooms. While some have commented that the breakfast isn't sufficient, this is a budget hotel and the breakfast is adequate with juice, coffee, egg, yogurt, bread, jam, and cheese. Some have commented on the stairs and the lack of an elevator. Again, this is normal for Amsterdam, and normal for budget hotels in much of Europe. If you need to bring large suitcases, you should stay in a luxury hotel which will have an elevator. Some have commented on the noise. Contact the hotel in advance and ask for a room on the back side of the hotel, it is much quieter, or bring ear plugs. Those commenting on the hotel not wanting to take credit cards, we found very few places that took credit cards, or only took them if the total was over 50 Euros. Taking credit cards costs the hotel money, and they are a small business. As to the cat, we loved the Poesje, and it made us feel more at home.
