Dokkum, the centre for water sports, the 'terp' route of ancient mounds and, in the winter, skating. You can canoe in the nice surroundings of Dokkum. There is also a subtropical swimmingparadise and a manège. For such purposes De Posthoorn offers a wide range of possibilities: rooms for 200, 80 or 10 people with ample parking less than four minutes away.

Route description: From Groningen: A7 in direction Drachten, junction 31 in direction of Surhuisterveen, then Buitenpost,then Dokkum. From Zwolle and Amsterdam: from Leeuwarden in direction of Hurdegaryp-Dokkum. Our hotel is in the city-centre of Dokkum.
