| Main advantages: We liked the facilities of the apartment and the layout and location.
Our host was always extremely obliging and was able to assist with all
queries and had an excellent local knowledge. Breakfast was basic but
there was no shortage of the good patisseries and coffee available. |

| Main disadvantages: Climbing the stairs... But really this was expected and not really a
problem, it's just we were on the end of 5 weeks climbing and up and
down stairs and hills. :)
We can't think of anything we didn't really like. |
| Main advantages: The service by the staff was superb. From sorting an error on our part,
to helping with luggage, directions, suggestions for sights and
activities. They were very accommodating when we needed to leave luggage
after check-out. They were very friendly every time we had contact.
The room was not top quality, we knew that would be the case, but it was clean and tidy and very adequate for our needs. It was probably a bit better than expected due to the price we paid which was quite reasonable compared to other places considered.
The breakfast and dinning room was very clean and tidy and we had no concerns of any sort with the provision and care of the food provided.
We would recommend this hotel to budget conscious travelers. |

| Main disadvantages: Yes, you can hear the club which is right next door, but if you are
planning to have a good time in Amsterdam than it's not going to bother
you too much. |

worn out, but it's actually a lot better than a some other hotels I have
stayed in Amsterdam |

| Main disadvantages: Would be nice if a hotel manager checked all the rooms and let repair the little things that have a negative impact on the hotel image (e.g. in room 34 there is a broken the electrical outlet - it could be very dangerous for children and there is a broken window). I´ve seen a lot of little things that can be very easily and cheaply repaired and it would improve the total image a lot. |

| Main disadvantages: Checking in at reception was slow (15 minutes) and there is no lift. The numbering system for rooms is confusing and my 3rd floor room was cold - as was the coffee at breakfast. |
| Main advantages: This hotel is at a fantastic canal-side location, in the real centre of Amsterdam. A 15 minute walk from Centraalstation, trams pass by on the opposite side of the canal. |
