Main advantages: Hotel was so easy to find from Centraal Station, with an option of the
1,2 & 5 Tram bringing your practically to the door of the hotel. The
location could hardly be better, shopping, restaurants and nightlife all
within walking distance and the comfort and size of the room were an
added bonus.

Main disadvantages: The superior rooms are really great, the standard rooms seem to be okay
but will need a make-over one day, too.
Main advantages: It is a traditional hotel with charm (as opposed to the countless and
faceless hotel chains). It is perfectly located a short tram ride from
the station in a neighborhood where much is going on (culture,
restaurants, shopping). The rooms to the side of the Prinsengraacht have
a wonderfully romantic view. Hotel staff is very helpful. We felt so
nice here, we regretted leaving.

Main advantages: Fantastic location. Stone throw from museums. Next to many restaurants
and bars clubs and coffee shops. No need for cabs or trams! Also the
personnel were very helpful. The bedroom and specially the bathroom are
spotlessly clean. The noise level from pedestrians and trams (my room on
the 2nd floor and facing the offending street) was not as bad as I
feared after reading reviews. It will not deter us from staying at this
hotel again,

Main advantages: Great location, superior room was very spacious with canal view.
Comfortable, clean, nice seating area. Bar was closed Monday night so
cannot comment, didn't use restaurant as there are so many to chose from
very close by. Would definitely stay here again.

Main advantages: Excellent location, right in the heart of Amsterdam. Staff were friendly and gave great tips on where to eat!

Main advantages: The room was a large twin and had a lovely bathroom. It was clean, and the bed was probably one of the most comfortable I have slept in. We were on the fifth floor, and had a balcony. The room was very light. We did not eat the breakfast, as it was expensive, and we were so close to other places to eat. The staff were very pleasant.

Main advantages: Excellent river view location. Hotel is few steps to tram stop which makes city tour very convenient. Our room was very spacious , clean with Victorian decor , chandelier & very wide windows. Bathroom was spacious & clean also. We highly recommend this hotel to any traveler who is visiting Amsterdam for leisure or business. Surely value for money. Staffs cooperative & friendly .

Main disadvantages: We had a room which overloked the main street and it was very noisy until 4am and the trams sarted at 6. My husband had to go and buy ear plugs. If we came again we would ask for a room at the back Or perhaps the hotel could get triple glazing to reduce the noise
