Main advantages: Very comfortable rooms. We like the Nespresso machine very much, but missed tea making facilities. Dinner was good value for money. Excellent situation for shopping , near the centre. Valet service for the car, excellent!

Main disadvantages: We received a room in the guesthouse of the hotel which we were not aware of during the booking of the room at the hotel. The room had potential but was in a rundown state and the beds were horrible. If you can stay in the main building with the better rooms it is a great hotel but in the rooms in the guesthouse are rundown and not up to date and have very bad beds then look around for another hotel.

Main advantages: Very nice hotel with, a great locationand a nice atmosphere in the main building. Nice staff

Main advantages: The Derlon is in one of the best locations in Maastricht and the rooms are very lovely. We enjoyed the buffet breakfast and were very glad we had chosen this hotel over others.

Maulik Mumbai, India - Rest with children

Main disadvantages: The concept of having a bathroom door in frosted glass that doesn't lock and has the word bathroom etched out in big bold letters - effectively defeating the purpose of the frosting - needs to be re-examined! Fairly basic look and feel of the furniture and fittings in the room and bathroom. No double beds - not even queen size. Joining two single beds is definitely not the same thing.

Main advantages: Very convenient/central location.

Main disadvantages: Wooden floors, so you can sometimes hear when your upstairs neighbour is walking in the room. Rather narrow and high steps if you have a lot of baggage and have a room on higher foors, although the hotel personnel will help you to carry it upstairs.

Main advantages: Guesthouse is on the same square as the hotel, which means a great position - walking distance to the railway station and all the places in the centre (5-10min). Very quiet and private. Big bathroom. Nice roman ruins in the basement of the hotel.
