| Main advantages: Excellent staff and location. Perfect for travellers visiting Amsterdam just looking for a place to sleep and recharge. If you're used to 5 star resorts this place isn't for you, but I couldn't have been more pleased. |

wasn't too bad. |

| Main advantages: Excellent. As a 'solo traveller' and as a business-man the hotel is more
than sufficient to stay in. The room I had was clean, nice and warm,
simply good. It was the second time I did book a room in this hotel and
will be my first pick again. |

| Main advantages: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at De Mallemoolen. The room was basic but clean and the hotel was conveniently located and within walking distance of everything we might need in Amsterdam. It was great that we could come and go at any point throughout the day or night. |

| Main disadvantages: The staircase to the rooms we stayed in was a nightmare!, lucky we were skinny as the spiral staircase was very narrow, I lost count of the amount of times I banged my head trying to get up. Also a shame there was kettle in the room. |
| Main advantages: Very clean and friendly staff and helpful, beds made everyday which was not expected so it was an added bonus and no personal belongings where touched or moved which is very trusting.

| Main disadvantages: Room was very small, had to move furniture around to fit our suitcases. It was quite noisy, could hear everything outside and at reception downstairs. Was impossible to sleep before midnight (if you need to) and was busy outside all night. Not for light sleepers! For price and location it was decent and what you would expect. |
| Main advantages: The location is fantastic - right near the red light district and close to the bus/train station (5 min walk). Breakfast was included and sufficient - cereal, bread, toast etc. Would recommend on location. |

| Main advantages: De Mallemoolen is an ideally placed hotel, with nothing more than a 10
minute walk away, we had a great stay, the morning breakfast had a good
variety of foods and drink. For a 5 person room the price was not
excessive and the staff was (almost) always willing to help. The room
was smoking |

| Main advantages: The staff were very friendly and always round to help. The room was excellent for the money we paid and although the toilet and shower were shared with 2 other rooms, we never saw anyone else at all. The hotel was easy to find and was in a great place, situated 10 minutes from the train station and a walk down the road to Dam Square and also very near the Red Light District. Overall, very impressed and would definitely come back. |
