Main disadvantages: Location, near Railway station and very close to red light area bringing
with it a number of weird and wonderful people in the vacinity. More
beautiful and better areas to stay for restaurants and bars in other
locations.
Main advantages: Decor great and rooms large with good facilities, Staff friendly and
helpful. Accross the road from a tram station.

Main disadvantages: No real bar to sit and have a drink at at the end of the evening.
Main advantages: Location was ideal. Hotel was modern and clean with excellent staff.
Room was lovely: large, bright, modern and clean. It was though at the
front of the building on a main road on level 1although the secondary
glazing did an great job of keeping the noise to an acceptable level. We
only ate in the restaurant on one evening. The food and wine was very,
very nice. Overall a great hotel which I would have no hesitation in
using again.

Main advantages: I stoped at the hotel only one day, but I consider to stay there again when I visit Amsterdam next time. Good location, good breakfast, silent and clean room - all of these you may expect from the hotel and find in the Crowne Plaza.

Main disadvantages: Very expensive if you start to add on breakfast (€25ea!), internet (~€20/day) - much cheaper options for both nearby.
Main advantages: Location is mid-way between Dam Square & Central Station so it's good for shopping.
Restaurant is pricey but a bit average & with a limited menu.
Typical business-class hotel: modern but a bit soulless.

Polychronis Freiburg im Breisgau, Germany - Rest with children
Main disadvantages: Price is not suitable for low budgets, however one pays what one gets,
quality was very good.
Main advantages: Very strategic location, perfect for exploring Amsterdam centre and next
to a tram station as well as the main train station, comfortable and
very clean rooms, great lounge area.

Main disadvantages: Consierge gave good information, but wasn't clear about the cruise discount I was intiteled to and made me need to come back to the hotel, after I was already in the cruise site and didn't get the promised discount. Mini-bar doesn't have any free space to use for my own items- only for the hotel's over-priced items. Breakfast too expensive
Main advantages: location is in the center, good design, strong air-condition, water always hot and water pressure is strong
