| Main advantages: Thanks to the hosts the stay was really nice. Good breakfast, nice large
room even for family with two children'S. Due to good tram connection
the locations is not a problem, since it takes you 10 min ride. If I
will be in Amsterdam I will select the same b&b again. |

| Main disadvantages: It's not in the city centre but anyway you have a tram only 4 minutes
from the door that will take you to the towncentre in 8 minutes. At
night there is a bus service also (one bus each 30 minutes, 40
minutes trip). |

| Main advantages: Nice accomodation. The guestparents are friendly and try to make you
feel at home. It´s not like a normal hotel. You sleep in their private
house. Your room is in a seperate floor and the breakfast is in the
family kitchen. This is special, but familiar and homelike. The room
was clean and big enough. Our little bathroom (by the room) had no
door, just a paravent. But to my opinion, thats normal for hollands,
they are not so uptight :) The location is on an built island very
close to amsterdam, but the tram goes every 5-10 min and last under 20
min, so it´s no problem. And the advantage is, that you can go swimming
in the ocean and it´s very quiet, nearly no traffic. We would go there
a second time! |

| Main advantages: The hosts went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable, without being the least bit intrusive. The facility was in a great location for traveling into the city. Our entire family of four could share a room. Breakfast was outstanding. |

| Main disadvantages: Bath has no door so privacy may be an issue for some. No local store so get goodies before leaving city. |
| Main advantages: Stayed in Out of Africa Room on top floor. The location of B&B was great with short walk to tram and short ride to city on Tram. Room had plenty of space for a family of four. Overall would stay again but would not recommend if you're excepting all the frills of regular hotels such as daily housekeeping or AC (not really needed during stay). Like I mentioned before, had room on top floor which may not be good choice for small children that are in climbing stage because there is loft area with ladder. |

| Main advantages: The stay here was very nice. The owners were very nice and helpful. We were given maps and travel books to help us explore the city and countryside. The breakfast was also very nice. |

| Main disadvantages: I liked everything about it. |
| Main advantages: The owners are very friendly, interesting people; the other guests international. The owner is in the process of building/finishing work on the house so parts of it are unfinished including the room we stayed in. This really only affected the appearance of things, but the house is a work of art in progress. People should not expect a polished, finished room if they stay in the family suite. The house is only 2 or 3 years old, but the owner is the builder and he's still refining parts of it. |

| Main disadvantages: Just a caution: I parked my car in an area where they are building new homes/apartments. In the future, free parking might not be available when residents occupy these buildings. Be sure and check if you are going by car. |
| Main advantages: Fred and Kikk operate the B&B. They are friendly and helpful. Travel to Amsterdam was easy on the Tram and cost 2.6 euros each way. Parking was four blocks away but I didn't use the car during my stay so it didn't matter. Breakfast was adequate for 10 euro. I don't think they came into our room during the three days we were there. We had to ask for fresh towels which were readily supplied. Room was spacious and the bed comfortable. Best part: we easily moved to and from Amsterdam without staying downtown and saved on the room cost. Our hosts answered our many questions about the area which was extremely helpful. |

| Main advantages: This B&B is in a very beautiful and architecturally interesting modern building which added a great deal to the enjoyment of our stay. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, the breakfasts were fabulous and our hosts very friendly and accommodating. Our dog enjoyed it too. |

| Main disadvantages: I could have used a second duvet as it was January and v. cold, but I was actually warm enough. Noise insulation in the B&B could be better, but this is just nitpicking; it is overwhelmingly A Good Place. |
| Main advantages: This B&B is terrific! I stayed here while in Amsterdam on business in early 2010. It is only 15 minutes by tram from Centraal station and is located in the IJburg area of Amsterdam. Lieve Nachten itself is a quite remarkable building, located on a street where every house is individually designed (so you hvae a terrace of cool, contemporary architecture). The room itself was large and comfortable and was memorable. So many hotels are utterly forgettable, but Lieve Nachten will stick with me forever...sorry if this sounds contrived; it's just wonderful!! Kitty and Fred (the owners) are lovely too. |
