| Main disadvantages: The cleaning staff was very rude never wanted to help, I think on one
day we was running late and asked them to come back in a hour and she
was very rude and said no. This was the only thing that let the hotel
down everything else was perfect. |

at hand to give advise on where best to go, maps and directions. |

| Main advantages: The staff are so nice. Victor is just a wonderful staff. He is a perfect
gentleman who makes you feel at home away from home. He is so receptive,
friendly, easily approachable and got good a kowledge of the hospitality
industry. Please keep it up. The hotel is well located so you can assess
the tourist sites easily. Next time am in Amsterdam, sure I will stay in
Asterisk Hotel again and again. Thanks Victor. |

| Main advantages: Manager at front desk very straightforward and nice. Room small, but I expected that, didn't need anything more, and the beds were comfortable. Easy to get to hotel using tram from Centraal Station, and easy to walk from hotel into main part of Amsterdam including along a path that has lots of neat little restaurants. |

| Main advantages: Considering the price we think everything was ok .We were three friends staying in one room, and it was bigger than we feared, it was also quiet. Friendly staff and good breakfast. Location is good. |

| Main advantages: The staff were fantastic, helpful and made great recommendations for a range of places to go. The breakfast was lovely and the staff on really took care of the food to ensure it was fresh and plenty of it. The room was too small and it was a bit odd that some rooms have a bathroom and other don't. Overall however a great location especially for the price! |

| Main disadvantages: The price. While it was clean, friendly and comfortable it was rather expensive. The room was quite small. This seems to be a problem with hotels in Amsterdam. All in all it was all good and served its purpose well enough. No major complaints. |
| Main advantages: Staff were very friendly and helpful and able to give us very good advice to make the most of the limited time we had in Amsterdam. The location was very good for us as we like walking; it was on the edge of the city centre around 15-30 min walk from all major attractions. Location was quiet, away from the noise of the city centre. |

| Main advantages: Hotels in Amsterdam are not the best in Europe (and I have been to Amsterdam several times), but the difference at the Asterisk is the Front desk staff and the Cleaning staff. Both of which are excellent! I would stay there again, but next time I will be traveling with my dog and pets are not allowed. :-( |

| Main advantages: Triple room was spacious, quite, and on the ground floor amazingly! Easy to find via directions on website. Suburb is on edge of city center - 10 mins on tram but bikes are essential and cheaper option from here... |

| Main advantages: The staff were great, each and every one of them was very nice, smiling and very helpful when we had problems (not to do with the hotel).
The room was fine, very clean. The breakfast was also good.
The hotel is very close to many of the city's attractions (Heineken Experience, Van Gogh's Museum, Rijksmuseum, etc). |

| Main disadvantages: I would liked to have had access to the computer late at night but that wasn't available. That's about it. |
| Main advantages: The location is great especially if you like walking everywhere. The people at the hotel itself are very helpful and friendly. Breakfast is included which is a plus. I had a single room which was ample with a window that opened nice and wide to get the fresh air. I would definately recommend it. |
