| Main disadvantages: The separate beds, though large, were really a nuisance, and we would
have much preferred a single matrimonial bed. The mattresses were
much too soft, which made for uncomfortable sleeping. The bathtub is
2-star rather than 5-star quality. The room itself and every extra
had to be paid in advance and prices kept floating from day to day.
There were repairs going on on the rooftop and the conditions for use
weren't ideal. |
| Main advantages: The location in a quiet street, the church in the vicinity,the central
location in Sliema near the Ferry services to La Valletta and the beach
strip on the other side. The excellent view from the balcony of the
room, the amazing rooftop swimming pool. The free underground parking.
The personnel were quite professional. The ground floor reception and
the bar are grand and make for a good first impression. The rooms are
spacious and well-designed. |

| Main disadvantages: Room 748 was an awkward shape. The best feature of the room was the
balcony view. The lighting is extremely poor. The only well lit area is
at the entrance where its only function seems to be to highlight a very
large impractical throne like chair. It was difficult to read in bed.
The bathroom has adequate lighting only over the washbasins. There is no
coffee-table. The handle of the furtherest away bedside table needs
fixing [the retaining screws are loose]. |
| Main advantages: Good welcome at Reception. Location, Not too far to walk to bus stops or
the Valetta ferry. Two swimming pools which guarantee swimming all year.
Good views of the harbour area from roof-top pool and many rooms.
I would only recommend the hotel wih reservations but in the future I may return myself. |

| Main advantages: The Palace is a lovely hotel in a very convenient area close to the
shops,restaurants and ferries, The staff are very helpful and the room
was great. We got a free upgrade to a deluxe room and a late checkout
for 20 euros |

| Main advantages: The hotel is very comfortable with several dining options. The dining areas are very smart and comfortable. What is particularly noticeable is the training staff have received. Little things are attended to vey carefully - for exampe, when a table is being cleared or set, you do not hear a rattle of delph or cutlery. Everything is done quietly. All staff most courteous.This is our second time in the hotel. The half board option was quite good. Last time we sought out - and walked long distances to - the best restaurants we could find. None would have been worth that walk/trouble when within the hotel we had option of buffet evening meal or TemptAsian restaurant, beautifully positioned on roof with great views. All in all, a great hotel. |

| Main advantages: The staff friendliness was excellent. We got a very warm welcome and all staff were very helpful at all times. The location is quite good, only 5 minutes walk from the sea. Hotel has an excellent ambiance and very clean. |

| Main disadvantages: There was no tourist information readily available to customers. No clothes iron or bathrobes in the room .Room was very basic for a room that was booked as "superior".It is really a good 3 star hotel rather than 5 star. |

| Main disadvantages: This wasn't a major issue, but we felt it was a shame that poor quality fittings had been used in the bathroom. These were rusty and not in keeping with other aspects of the room or the public areas of the hotel, which were smart and of good quality. |
| Main advantages: Comfortable bed, good breakfast, good pan-asian restaurant. Prompt response to and recfication of minor niggles (safe left locked by previous guest, noise from ceiling). Handy location for key places in Sliema, inc buses and boats. |

| Main disadvantages: As the shower is in the bath the hotel should supply a rubber bathmat as there is a danger of slipping while showering. |
| Main advantages: I upgraded my "Comfort"room to the next level after one night as the Comfortroom open onto a roofed courtyard without access to fresh air. The new room had a balcony overlooking Sliema and was excellent. The staff were particularly helpful in this matter and were very friendly and helpful in general. The hotel offers guests a 20-minute (at a time) free access to Internet in the Lobby. A small queue at times but not a problem. This service is very appreciated. The roof pool area is clean and well run. |

| Main disadvantages: The furniture in the room and bathroom whilst looking stylish was not of good quality, with rust evident on the chrome bathroon fittings, some of which were not properly fixed to the walls. Didn't bother us but should not be acceptable in a 5 star hotel. Also the modern style of bathrooms being partially open to the rest of the room may not be to everyones liking. |
| Main advantages: The size of the rooms and the beds were amazingly comfortable with fantastic pillows and linens. Great choice of food at breakfast and the leisure facilities in general are very good. Public areas very clean and of a high standard. |

| Main advantages: We were really impressed that we got our room changed from a twin room to a double room on the second day with no hassle and in fact was given a choice of two double rooms to pick from. We found the staff made our stay so wonderful with their helpful, friendly, professional attitude in a beautiful hotel. |
