| Main disadvantages: Mattress on one bed was terrible but was changed on request for
following nights. Didnt like the small lifts! |
| Main advantages: Hotel was very convenient for both bus or ferry to Valletta and for bus
to Mdina. Also a short walk to promenade for lovely walks and
restaurants. Hotel was quiet and comfortable with substantial breakfast. |

| Main disadvantages: A shop with basic supplies or available at reception, mainly such as
water. (The vending machine only offered sugar drinks or sweets) |
| Main advantages: We stayed in the renovated part of the hotel and the decor was lovely,
simple, modern and clean, with a lovely new bathroom. Our room was
cleaned regularly with fresh towel. Breakfast was a good selection. |

| Main disadvantages: If you hire a car, although it really isn't needed, then be prepared to
drive round for a space, there was always one available but sometimes
not right outside the hotel |
| Main advantages: We honeymooned at the Plevna exactly thirty years ago, We were so glad
we went back because it hasn't changed a bit! Its still a bit odd, with
a peculiar mix of young and old guests. It's not run down more sort of
lived in, the food? Ok but not outstanding but to be honest its position
between the harbour and the bay can't be beat for choices of restaurant.
Aircon not noisy at all and a real mix of nationalities staying. We had
a problem with the room safe it was fixed within the hour, but then I
always find you have to impress on people at home and abroad when
somthing does not meet your standards. The beach club is still exactly
as it was all those years ago with swimming in the pool as well as off
the rocks in the Med. Staff all very helpful but particularly the guys
at the Beach club. You need to be aware that this hotel is not in an
area bedecked with crome and neon it is in a typical Maltese residential
area.Overall a relaxing enjoyable break in a comfortable well positioned
hotel on a lovely island. |

| Main advantages: the courtesy of the staff at reception, and the wide rang of services and facilities.
The hotel plevna has a very nice swimming pool even if the water is very cold. there is also a very interesting access to the sea. |

| Main disadvantages: The only thing that was a bit dissapointing was the swimming pool, it
was sea water and freezing. My small child would not go in it. However
we still had a good time and would definately come back. |
| Main advantages: Hotel Plevna was very good value for money, the interior was a little
dated however was still clean and comfortable and very acceptable. The
staff were very friendly and polite. The room was spacious and there was
a decent hairdryer. There was a room with an iron and ironing board that
guests can use free of charge. Breakfast was very good with a good
selection including continental, full english, cereals, fruit, etc etc
eat as much as you like buffet style. The swimming pool was just down
the road on the beach front and there was a bar serving drinks and hot
food until 6pm. The food was reasonably priced 5 euro's for a massive
pizza, toasted sandwiches etc. |

| Main advantages: Good value for money,but guests have to be prepared to wake up early to have a good choice of meals for breakfast. The toilet was clean,but flush sometimes did not work because of low pressure in water supply system. |

| Main disadvantages: We have two complaints, one small, one large: 1) The TV set did not work (we didn't inquire with the hotel staff to see if it could be fixed, because we weren't really interested enough to put the effort into it... Yet it would have been nice for it to just work, as it should have). 2) Cleaning staff were infuriatingly loud. We tried to nap one day around 3 p.m. and were awoken abruptly by their screaming and banging, which did not stop even when I alerted them to my presence. But what was worse, the next morning, starting at 6:30 a.m. the shouting and banging began once again, and culminated in the cleaning ladies' attempting to come into our room (which they weren't able to do, as it was locked from the inside). Clearly, and I say this because I wish the hotel to do well and not just for the sake of complaining, cleaning staff need to be reminded that, like in so many other circumstances of life, "silence is golden" inside a hotel. |
| Main advantages: Beds were very comfortable, towels were soft, and the bathroom was large. Breakfast was plentiful and diverse. Reception-desk staff were very polite, welcoming, and helpful. All in all, good value for our money (25 euro per person per night). |

| Main disadvantages: Hotel was calm, but really nosiy. Our first floor suite is located above the bar and right next to the storage room where the cleaners in the morning take their equipment, but they really try to be quiet. |
| Main advantages: Personnel was really friendly. Suite was of good size and rooms were properly clean. Good service with the early breakfast delivery to the room. |
