Main disadvantages: The reception staff did not openly provide information about the hotel and facilities. When you asked the right questions you got an answer but they do need to be more friendly. Breakfast staff were very friendly and helpful.

Main advantages: The location was great, Bus Stop to all parts of island 100m away. The rooms with sea view provided a fanastic view of Valletta. We were given an upgrade to sea view room. The room was clean but a little dated and the carpets needed to be changed. The buffet breakfast was good value but lack of fruit. A good cooked breakfast. The swimming pools were clean. We did not use the spa.

Jane New Milton, United Kingdom - Rest with children

Main disadvantages: The lift to the dining room was out of order several times. The organisation of the restaurant at breakfast was chaotic at times and you had to search for cutlery etc. Most of the hotel, foyer, bars etc were in good condition but our room was bit tired. When you pressed the flush for the cystern water came out of the fitting. There had been attempts to cover chips in the bath which did not look good. We had to report that our door did not lock properly and when the maids had been to service the room it had been left open on two occasions. The next question needs an opportunity for qualifications. We would recommend it for its location but point out some deficiencies.

Main advantages: The views of Valetta. The positioning and design of the swimming pool area. The different restaurants which were excellent.

Yasuyuki Tokyo, Japan - Individual tour

Main advantages: We were stat in very comfortable room; good seaview of Valleta. And also, we could swim in extremly excellent seaview pool. There is a bus stop near the hotel (to Valleta, Mdina, and airport). And we can takd ferry to Comino near. Very good.

Main disadvantages: The only thing that I didn`t like is that it is not easy to find from where to go to the pool that is no instructions to guide you from where to pass and also to find the restaurants. It seems that the hotel is not organised in this regard.

Main advantages: I really like the pool, good food, cleanliness, comfortable bed, everthing seems perfect.

Main disadvantages: We just hated the constant music at the swimming pool area over-looking the sea, as well as music in the garden area. It cheapened the whole hotel and invaded our peace!

Main advantages: We paid for a seaview room but was 'upgraded' to a suite overlooking the pool and lush garden. The suite was extremely spacious and very well furnished. Huge comfortable bed and a jacazzu in the bathroom. Our stay was only 2 days and wished it had had been longer but we would have avoided the open areas as you will read in the following 'complaints' section.
