Main disadvantages: Minibar was not refilled everyday, room service food has a very poor price/quality ratio, overly priced without food being even average.
Main advantages: Friendly staff, nice amenities and excellent views from the sea view room. Hotel itself has a luxurious feel and it also looks like it despite of being old. Fast room service and restaurant on the roof.

Main disadvantages: There was a certain lack of consistancy in room service. At times a
bottle of water and choclates were left for each of us each evening and
at other times nothing was left at all. Most days the room was made up
by noon, however, on one occasion the room was not made up until late
afternoon and that was only when house services were called and were
asked to make up the room. In room coffee should be provided like many
other hotels that we had stayed at.
Main advantages: Ocean view from the room was outstanding. The hotel is relatively new
and the property is quite attractive and maintained. . Staff were
cordial and quite helpful. (Especially the conceirge desk personel)

Main disadvantages: That wireless internet is not available in rooms. Had to go to lobby to use iPads. Also, room seemed very clean but everynight I got a few more bed bug bites! They are worse than mosquito bites! Also I thought it was out of place for women to be topless at the pool in a family setting
Main advantages: It's location and view of the sea were spectacular

Main disadvantages: Rates are very high, but we are in Monte Carlo, 5 stars hotel... The other hotels in surroundings have the same rates but not the same fame!
Main advantages: Room was very large, with a nice terrace. Hotel is like a big mall, including luxury shops and a casino! Then it is located on one of the most famous points of the worldwide famous Grand Prix!

Main disadvantages: Not enough food selection in the hotel, the menues were short. Also, I did not appreciate the fact that internet is charged !! normally this comes free with the room, guests of the hotel should have free access to the business center.

Main disadvantages: Breakfast is too expensive. Balcony furniture needs face lift.
Main advantages: Fairmont Monte Carlo hotel has excellent location. Staff is very friendly and helpful. I can recommend the hotel especially for special occasions when you are willing to spend some more to have the luxury -honeymoon, anniversary etc. We had a room with marvellous sea view and room was quiet for a good sleep.

Main disadvantages: Just very pricey, but thats what you should expect in Monte Carlo. Would have liked the breakfast to be included in the rate.
Main advantages: The facilities, the staff, cleanliness, pool, rooftop restaurant and all views of the sea were excellent !! Rooms were well equipped. Location was perfect. A really high class hotel that we would without doubt stay in again, rates as one of the best we have stayed at.

Main advantages: This is not the first time i am staying at this Hotel so i know what i should expect and what not. Breakfast facilities could be better especially in the summer. Other than that it is Monte Carlo and this is what you get for your moneys worth.

Main advantages: We particularly loved the breakfast room which seems to be suspended over the sea. In the middle of winter it was sunny and warm. The pool area and summer outdoor eating areas are also very beautiful. The views from the rooms with a sea view are like being on a ship. A delightful experience.

Main advantages: This hotel was just lush. It was located in a fantastic spot right next to the Casino, shops and restaurants. Over priced a little, but I guess you get that everywhere in Monte Carlo. Hotel Restaurants were a little over priced too. But the overall experience was great.

Main disadvantages: It is a huge hotel - more rooms than we had thought - so it was a long, long walk to the room in very narrow corridors.
Main advantages: We loved the room - it was quiet and had a great terrace. We loved the rooftop bar/restaurant - the service was great and the food was excellent. The pool was fabulous and had lots of sunlounger.
