| Main disadvantages: When booking ask for a room that does not face onto the courtyard as there is a continuous groaning din from either extraction fans or perhaps air conditioning, which is amplified within the courtyard.
If you have no plans to open your windows then this is fine - but if you do, it is likely to drive you nuts when you try to sleep and therefore opt for a street facing room ( the main street is fully pedestrian only) |
| Main advantages: The hotel is excellently located on the traditional main shopping street, convenient for bars, restaurants and other leisure facilities. The rooms are clean and modern with under floor heating and decent sized bedrooms. The main lobby area is small but functional and the pool is more of a plunge than a swim. The gym looked well stocked.
The restaurant is traditional Lithuanian which mean too much salt on everything and the morning buffet was surprisingly well stocked with a wide selection of choices
Overall a very good choice if you are planning a trip here

| Main disadvantages: They should give much mnore information and speak english. Normal
tourist doesn`t understand not a word lithuanian language, that is
really a problem in F.eg. Restaurants (don´t know what to order) and
public transportations and museums too. |

comparison to other tourist cities I `ve been. |

| Main advantages: This hotel was very good and ideally located. The breakfast was the best
that I have ever seen and all beatifully presented. The staff were
polite and helpful. The rooms were excellent and good value for money.
Would definately stay there again and certainly recommend it to others. |

| Main advantages: Good location. Staff was helpful and they spoke good English. Especially
guy in a reception gave lot of useful information about the city and
traffic connections etc. Room was clean and breakfast ok. I think it was
really worth of my money. |

| Main advantages: The Kaunas hotel was in perfect location with comfortable rooms. The city itself was very nice. Big but not crowded. Public transport easy to use and cheap. Shopping centers Akropolis and Mega had everything one possibly might need including lot of nice restaurants. Shopping area Urmas worth of seeing as well. Great city all in all. |

| Main disadvantages: The uneven pavements!! Be careful!! |
| Main advantages: The hotel itself is in a perfect position with easy access to the
airport by bus. It had a nice restaurant but there were so many cafes to
choose from we never ate there on our short stay.
The room its self was nice, although when booking the room it said there was a safe and air conditioning and this was not the case when we got to the room. Were offered a safety deposit box at reception and we had a fan in the room. The room did have a balcony so we could open to get some air but it was warm even with the fan. The hotel had a small indoor pool and gym but I think this was more for use during the winter. It would have been nice to have some chairs to sit out on at the hotel when the weather is good.
The breakfast had a good selection of hot and cold food although there were never any glasses for juice or bowls for fruit so you always had to ask. The juices and yoghurts were warm and the coffee was from a machine. There was certainly plenty to choose from.
The hotel is well positioned in a safe location to walk in the evening and has good access to the airport/the old town and to the bus and train station. |

the sauna. |
| Main advantages: They had a great breakfast with 5 different kinds of fish, cheeses, ham,
juice etc. and cooked eggs, fried eggs, scrambled or omelette and you
could also order etc.. We left 5:15 in the morning and they had some
breakfast prepared for us without us having to ask. Nice view over the
city "boulevard". Nice with a minigolf course on one of the roof
buildings. 10% discount in the restaurant for hotel guests. |

| Main advantages: I stayed in a Suite room and it was huge! The rooms were equipped with everything you need, the staff were friendly and it was in a great location. It wasn't noisy even though it is in the middle of Laisves Aleja and you could go to most tourist places on foot. I was surprised this wasn't classed as a 5 star hotel actually. |

| Main advantages: I thought the staff at the hotel were very helpful and friendly. I was there for the Euro game of Lithuania v Scotland and felt that it would have been difficult for the staff to have done more to make it an enjoyable stay. I thought they worked very hard and still had time to talk to the customers to make them feel welcome. The buffet breakfast was good as well with good choice. Well done and thank you very much. |
