| Main disadvantages: The traffic on the main road, was noisy made it hard to sleep at night. |
| Main advantages: The stay at Hotel Dorica was great, except for it being on a main road
with all the traffic. A good suggestion, sound proof windows!!! All in
all our stay at the Hotel was very nice, the staff was great and Marco
was delightful and helpful. Another great aspect of the hotel was
transportation pick up for the airport they offer an added plus. I would
highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Rome. |

| Main disadvantages: Rather cold in the rooms and the heating could not be regulated, but we came back only to sleep, so with the blankets it was ok. You have to be quick with your morning shower: hot water comes to an end with everybody in the hotel taking it (you can still manage though). |
| Main advantages: Location is perfect: close to Termini (which means buses and metro) and Via Nazionale - also buses and shops. Colosseum, Roman Forum, Santa Maria Maggiore - all within walking distance. At the same time it is located on a rather quite square, our windows faced the inner courtyard, so no noise came from the streets.
Rooms are nice and clean, towels changed daily. Breakfast is modest (bread, bakery. cheese), but tastes very good, coffee is excellent.
Reception works 24 hours, most staff speaks English and everybody is extremely friendly: brought us extra blankets, let us print museum vauchers (better be done in advance anyway though), recommended buses routes and restaurants etc.
Definitely would recommend the hotel in general. |

| Main disadvantages: The limited breakfast is the routine case for Italian hotel. Parking for loading/unloading is difficult at hotel taking into account many carbineers close to Department of Justice across the road. |

| Main advantages: Great location, reasonable prices and excelent staff (Marco was very helpful and friendly). Room was clean, little bit simplier than you will expect for 3 star hotel, but nice and comfortable. 10 min. walk to Colosseum, 5 min. to metro. |

| Main disadvantages: When you enter the room, there's a stale smell. But the conditioner works fine, and you can always open the window. My friends said the hair dryer was very old and didn't work properly. But all these things are such trifles. The hotel is great! I stayed in others in Rome, and this one is surely worth it. I recommend! |
| Main advantages: I think it's the best hotel you can get for this money. It's very homey, close to Termini, the rooms are very cosy, it's really a pleasure to stay there. Marco (at the reception) speaks 5 languanges and is extremely nice! The view is awesome, a fountain and a small piazza are right opposite the window. I'm definitely going to stay there again if I go to Rome again. |

| Main advantages: We had a great experience and the staff was wonderful. The airport pick
up was great (so we didn t need to wait in the large taxi queue) Our
purse got stollen in Paris and we were waiting for new credit card which
were going to be send to the hotel in Rome. They were very helpful and
got our dhl and it was ready when we arrived. Place location is great
and accommodations were very good. Yes we highly recommend this hotel. |

| Main advantages: Nice little Hotel in the centre of Rome. All major sightseeings and Roma
termini rail station are are at walking distance. We (family with 2
children) had a very pleasant stay, nice clean room (working airco!),
good breakfast. And very nice and helpful staff. After our 2nd day
walking through Rome we picked up our luggage and were offered to
freshen up before we went to the station. And all for e very reasonable
price. Mille Grazia ! |

| Main advantages: The hotel was in a very good location it was 15 min walk from the main
attractive locations and it was also near to the train station, metro
station and bus station, the staff were very friendly and helpful
especially peter that he welcomed me again in the hotel after I checked
out when I had a problem with my flight. The breakfast was ordinary but
was good; the room was clean and comfortable. I recommend the hotel for
the couples that want to discover Rome with good budget. |

| Main disadvantages: I think that the breakfast is far below the standards of a 3 star hotel. There is no buffet, though I expected for one, as advertised. They served one piece of bread, jellly and a small pack of butter, per person. A very tiny piece of pre - packed cheese (in Italy, where cheese is supposed to make a difference !!) and a donut. They must upgrade it. |

| Main advantages: The location is very good, being not too far from the main rail station and near numerous restaurants and Republica. The staff were lovely and conversed in several languages. The view from the rooms across the small piazza provided an open outlook. All very nice. |

| Main disadvantages: Just a shame there was only a few tables in the breakfast area, but it didnt interfere with our stay. |
| Main advantages: The staff at the Dorica were amazing. Always willing to help and always had the time to give directions etc. The hotel's doors close late at night and you just buzz the door to be let in (so there was decent security). The room was comfortable and although we faced the road, there were shutters and windows which kept out the noise when required. The hotel was run by a family who made you feel very welcome, and made us feel like we were part of the family unit. Great stay and we paid a good price for the room. Good, clean, decent accommodation. Some people have complained about the breakfast, but to be fair I thought it was fine. You had a choice of bread rolls,cheese,yoghurt, cereal, crossiants etc. I would definately stay there again. |

| Main advantages: Very caring and kindly staff. Comfortable room and good position for visiting the city by foot. The Quality/Price Ratio is very good and the breakfast is not bad like I have read in other comment, actually they also made one of the best Cappuccino I ever tasted!!! If I'll go back in Rome I'll for sure go in this hotel. |

| Main disadvantages: One recommendation - you cannot get a cup of tea in the evening only at breakfast so take your own to have a brew!!! There is a little cafe if you come out of the hotel and turn right just along the road in a covered area run by a very welcoming couple |
| Main advantages: Staff very friendly and helpful speaking several languages; the breakfasts are good and rooms comfortable with air conditioning, they provide you with a useful map of Rome buses, metro and trains nearby as is the Santa Maria Maggiore 100 yards away. |
