Main advantages: We were very happy with the room and fabulous balcony. All the staff were lovely and efficient, and the location couldn't be better. I would definitely stay here again.

Main disadvantages: Cleanliness could be better. While nothing was actually dirty, some things were left undusted when we were occupying the room, and there was a slight sewage smell in the bathroom.

Main advantages: The hotel is exceptionally gorgeous and charming in its decorations. While some rooms may be small, they make up for it in other ways, e.g. larger bathroom with extras.

Main advantages: The hotel was good but I was most upset to find out that I could not change this booking having clicked once on my computer! I was informed that the money would be debited from my credit card whether I stayed at the hotel or not. I think booking.com should not do this and will never book with them again. Others - beware!!!!

Main disadvantages: Bathroom amenities were a bit basic and not so generous.

Main advantages: The hotel is located in the very center of Rome, in the designer district of Rome's most famous shopping area, near the Spanish steps. So, ideally located for shopping and sightseeing. We were upgraded from a junior suite to a magnificent suite with a very large terrace overlooking the roofs of Rome. The suite was beautifully furnished and had a very spacious bathroom. A wonderful surprise, especially as I was staying there for my birthday! We had breakfast in the room, so I can't comment on the breakfast buffet downstairs. The breakfast we ordered à la carte and the room service were perfect, quite expensive, but corresponding to the standard of the hotel and in line with prices in comparable hotels. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful, relaxing stay in the hotel d'Inghilterra, due for a large part to the very nice upgrade we received. We stayed there only one night, so we didn't have the opportunity to explore the hotel and services into details.

Main disadvantages: The bathrooms need to be renovated for the quality of the hotel. The internet shouldn't be charged extra, it should be included in the rate and it should be wireless for such a four star hotel.

Main advantages: The location of the hotel is absolutely perfect. Major sights and designer shops are within easy walking distance. The staff was helpful and friendly. Room was comfortable. This is my second visit to Rome and my second stay in the same hotel. For my next visit to Rome I will choose Hotel d'Inghilterra.
