| Main disadvantages: Lack of view from my room. |
| Main advantages: Excellent premisses, with luxury and comfort. All working perfectly,
including wifi for free. Excellent location, easy walk to S.Marcos, as
well as main restaurants and other touristic location. Excellent staff,
in particular the chief Concierge, which was fantastic with advise and
planing of our activities. |

| Main disadvantages: The pillows were flat but there were three of them per person. No big deal. |
| Main advantages: I liked everything about the hotel. It was especially nice that it was located just around the corner from San Marco square and all sorts of designer shops and beatufil restaurants. I would happily stay at the Bauer again. |

| Main disadvantages: There was one person named James at the front desk who was not very Gracious with us when we tried to cancel out the last night we stayed due to our flights being rescheduled due to the hurricane. He was rude and not very understanding. The rest of the staff was great |
| Main advantages: The Staff at the front desk was very helpful. My plain was cancelled due to the hurricane in Philadelphia and the staff at the front desk (especially Elena;hopefully I got her name right) where very help ful in getting me a place to stay fro another 3 nights.
Also since I was able to get a flight out one night earlier the manager did not charge me for the last night. I will recommend this hotel to eveyone i know.
The concierge was also very helpful

| Main advantages: I caught my arm in the elevator door. They said the manager would get
back to me in the hotel. He never did. I asked if they would do
something for me at the front desk since the manager did not get get
back to me like they said he would.. They would not do anything.... I

| Main disadvantages: Rude staff who are keen to ruin an expensive stay. Recommended the worst
restaurant in town for dinner for obvious reasons. Wanted to charge for
wifi when it was included in the fees. |

| Main advantages: Excellent location, easy access by water taxi which takes you right up to the hotel entrance. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Rooms were very nicely furnished and comfortable. Breakfast on the terrace and the stunning view makes you feel you are at the heart of the venetian experience. |

| Main disadvantages: Overall a little over pretentious, maybe a personal preference though
for more down to earth customer management. No coffee/tea making
facilities in the room is very unusual. I didn't try the restaurant. The
menu mentioned a dress code, I didn't have a dinner jacket and so gave
it a miss. |
| Main advantages: Nice decoration, very spacious Superior suite room. Typical Venetian
Extravagance and Dynasty type styling, gold and marble everywhere.
Fantastic location and an all round great luxury Hotel. The
complimentary water taxi trip across to the Bauer Spa is a must.
Fantastic Spa. If you don't want to be on St Marks Square the Bauer Spa
Hotel is a much better choice for relaxation. |

| Main advantages: My husband thought he was pickpocketed on the streets of Venice when
it was very crowded during our stay. The Bauer was great in letting us
use the lobby phone to cancel his credit card and atm card, and then a
member of the staff took us to the police so that a police report
could be written. We left the hotel to board our ship to start the
cruise portion of the trip, and not long after we arrived on board, we
got the message that the wallet had been found. It had fallen under
the chair and was discovered by the maid. The Bauer then sent the
wallet to the ship before we left Venice. I plan to write to the Bauer
when we get home and thank them for their terrific assistance. Our
room was lovely also.l |

| Main disadvantages: There was nothing to really dislike except that the bed and pillows were very hard which made it difficult to get a good nights sleep but this may be personal preference |

| Main disadvantages: Although we were upgraded to a suite of rooms, there was no view from any window other than onto the internal walls of the hotel. Also the prices for the restaurant were exceptionally high and not of good value. |
| Main advantages: Location was excellent. Staff friendly and helpful. Upgraded room was a bonus with two bathrooms and walk in wardrobe. Being able to have breakfast and morning coffee on the terrace overlooking the Grand Canal was the best aspect of the hotel. |

| Main disadvantages: The bathroom was rather small but I think space is a general problem in Venice. The pillows were a bit flat and uncomfy. They could offer a pillow menu it being a 5 star hotel. |
| Main advantages: Fabulous hotel near San Marco. Probably the best location to be at in Venice. Water taxi can take you straight to the hotel. You can enjoy the fabulous views from the terrace whilst sipping on a glass of champagne. Concierge were very helpful in optimising our time in Venice. The rooms are very comfy. |

| Main advantages: The room was confortable, the bufet breakfast could be improved according to the standard of the hotel, the staff at all level is very kind and cooperative. Should have service for picking and dropping lugage from and to the terminal of water bus for who is wanting to take this facility to arrive and go to the airport. All rest is OK. |

| Main disadvantages: The lack of tea making facilities in the room but this seems normal inmost hotels nowadays the cost and quality of the breakfast although itwas included in our room rate it would have cost 50 euros ! it was abuffet breakfast with runny scrambled eggs and bought in croissants youwould think a hotel of this quality would bake their own pastries have achoice of eggs and provide toast which was not available at all. |

| Main disadvantages: The rooms were quite dark as they faced a nearby building opposite but this could add to the authenticity for some travellers. |
| Main advantages: The decor of the public rooms and the general ambience is lavishly old venetian and spectacular. The dining room and canal side terrace were excellent for breakfast. The buffet breakfast is very good. Unfortunately, during my stay in Venice, my purse was stolen but the hotel staff were extremely helpful and they escorted me to the police station to file a report. |
