Main disadvantages: The hotel is slightly out of the centre which meant we had to take a short taxi or tram ride into town.

Main advantages: Very helpful staff when we arrived and generally during our stay. We had asked for a quiet room and were allowed to check two alternatives out to see which suited us best. Quiet location, parking available and convenient (at extra charge). Very nice ambience in the hotel generally. Although a touch small our room was bright, well equipped, quiet and the bed was comfortable. Good restaurant attached to the hotel; good breakfast.

Main disadvantages: We stayed in the Picasso room, where you could hear the engine of the lifts during the night. Didn't sleep very well for that reason.

Main advantages: Very nice ambiance. The bar and garden were really nice and also the restaurant was even excellent.

Main disadvantages: It is not in the centre of the city, so a 15 minute walk to shops etc. However, this did not bother us and we found some great restaurants nearby (the hotel also has a fine restaurant).

Main advantages: With original pieces of modern artwork in both bedrooms and public spaces, Art Hotel Boston was refreshingly different. Our 'room' turned out to be a 'suite' with two TVs, a sofa, a walk-in wardrobe and spacious bathroom. And the bed was huge! The staff were also excellent (some of the finest I've come across anywhere in the world), including the cocktail barman who was talented, friendly and entertaining.

Main advantages: Everyone in the staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel appointments are lovely and the breakfast was very nice, although the eggs are not kept hot enough.

Main advantages: Amazing hotel which was very comfortable with every area of the reception rooms having the right amount of quirky art and interesting artifacts. The hotels restaurant was out of this world!

Main disadvantages: Bit of a walk to the centre (20 mins) and sights but the walk is worth it when you sta in such a good hotel, plus walking around Turin isn't exactly taxing the sights are lovely.

Main advantages: The staff were excellent and the new years eve meal was absolutely fantastic. We weren't expecting Italy to be so 'meal focused' around New Year but it is and the hotel restaurant was competitively priced and the food beautiful.
