Main disadvantages: Shower stall is very small; cannot turn without hitting flimsy plastic walls. Sink is very small and is installed very close to a glass vanity shelf. As a result, when you wash your face you invariably smash your forehead against the vanity shelf. If you move a little back not to touch the shelf, you end up washing your face not over the sink, but over the floor, where you quickly make a huge puddle. Otherwise, a very nice hotel - bed is comfortable (on the softer side), room is clean, wi- fi in the room, staff speaks excellent English, lobby/bar/interior are nicely appointed, getting to the hotel from the airport could not be easier - everything you would expect from an above-average priced scandinavian hotel.

Main disadvantages: the bathroom and the shower were kind of small and the breakfast was ok but not amazing

Main advantages: Very clean and amazing beds. I had the best night sleep. The douvet was with real featers as opposed to synthetic ones hence it was hot at the right level. I had issues sleeping everywhere else in Iceland as the rooms where too hot or too cold. At KEA everything was perfect

Main advantages: Friendly and courteous staff. Rooms were small but very comfortable. Breakfast offered a lot of choice and was excellent. The hotel was in a super location, right by the cathedral and the main shopping area.

Main advantages: Great location in the very centre of Akureyri. Very clean, nice rooms; our room was quiet and yet with a beautiful view on the fiord. Very good buffet breakfast, plenty of options to choose from.

Main disadvantages: The need better towels, they only have some small ones.

Main advantages: We went to Hotel Kea to ski and relax. We were both eating out and on the hotel, both very good for the price.
