Main disadvantages: The only small citicism was that the buffet breakfast was a bit limited. However, this is our first time to Iceland and for all we know, this may be the typical local breakfast.

Main advantages: The location was ideal for us - far enough from city to park car but near enough to walk into. The hotel was warm and our room was spacious and very comfortable. The bed gave me the best nights sleep I've had for ages. Staff were all helpful, polite and nothing was too much trouble.

Main advantages: The staff were very helpful. They gave me detailed information about the area and every time I emailed to ask something, I got a quick response. The hotel is very close to the cith centre/shopping area. The breakfast they served at the hotel restaurant (which is included in the price) is very good. The restaurant is open to 22:00 pm and they have an excellent open buffet salad bar. I highly recommend this hotel.

Main disadvantages: Just occasional noise from children playing and running up and down the corridors some nights.

Main advantages: The hotel was clean and well maintained. The hotel was on the whole quiet and relaxing and the room was spacious and comfortable. The free Wi-fi was also very handy, considering I was a business traveller. Furthermore, the staff were friendly and helpful and helped me to book day trip excursions and bus transfers to the airport.

Main disadvantages: Limited parking; some metered parking spots so had to pay.

Main advantages: Easy to find, always a plus when in a new country/city and quick/efficient welcoming check in. Room was very comfortable & lovely & warm! Good size room, free wifi & had hooks to gang your coats up which is a rarity in hotel rooms. Excellent shower with plenty of hot water!! A little walk, approx 20 mins into town but easy to get onto road out if driving! Breakfast excellent, served in very nice dining room. All in all a fab choice for 2 nights city break.

Main disadvantages: Liked it !

Main advantages: Nice clean modern hotel in reyjavik bright good sized rooms pleasant efficient staff.Good value for money excellent buffet breakfast.Good showers , comfortable beds. Ask for a view of the harbour as rooms at the back look out on unattractive courtyard. Quiet location away from the night life but a easy 15 minutes walk into city centre.

Main disadvantages: The room is ok but the bathroom could have been bigger. One can hardly move in the shower cubicle. The basin is also a bit small; hence, when you washed your face, you were very likely to wet the floor.

Main advantages: The hotel staff, in particular, the male staff (should have asked for his name) were very helpful. They were able to provide advice on what to do and helped me changed my flight.The hotel location is good; around 5 to 10 minutes walk to the main shopping street.

Main advantages: Not so far away (5-10min walk) from the city center (Laugarvegur); good breakfast with reasonable buffet; very clean room and bath room; very nice, friendly and helpful staff. Nice view from 3rd floor.

Main advantages: The rooms where simple but very comfortable and clean. The staff was super nice and helpful. They even gave me free breakfast and let me move into my room at 7am when my check in was at noon. The restaurant in the hotel is amazing... But seems to be a place where locals go. It's not on the tourist guides and there where few tourists. The food was very high quality though.
