The Medosz Hotel is one of the best-located budget hotels in Budapest. It is situated off Andrassy út, just 100 metres away from Liszt Ferenc tér and the Oktogon metro station.

| Main advantages: This hotel is in the perfect location, just around the corner from the Oktagon and Andrassy St. The hotel itself was very clean with comfortable beds & pillows. Our room was on the corner with a small hall, a lounge and 2 bedrooms. A kettle is provided but no coffee, only fruit tea. There is a hairdryer in the bathroom and also small soaps / bodywash for the shower.
Breakfast was varied with croissants/bread and jam, cereals, ham and cheese, fruit, yoghurt, scrambled egg and eggy bread. The receptionists were very helpful and prior to arriving advised me the taxi from Keleti should be no more than 3000HUF - the taxi driver wanted to charge more than double that. We used the hotel transfer on our return and would advise anyone to do that on arrival too - 2000HUF a transfer. |

| Main advantages: Friendly and helpful staff, they helped with everyting; excursions, dinner, entrance to the baths. The breakfast was nice. Our room were very clean and fresh. |

| Main advantages: The hotel is situated in a very good position, close to subway station Oktogon and is newly renovated . Staff was extremely helpful and the breakfast was excellent. We've had a great time. |

| Main advantages: Location, location, location!!! I also enjoy the breakfast buffets
and the room where they are held. It reminds me of my favorite
Central European restaurant from childhood. The staff has always been
friendly and helpful, and I would not stay at any other hotel, even
if money were no object. I hope to return next summer and bring my
son and daughter-in-law. |

| Main disadvantages: The windows are not safe. They can open wide, even though we were on the 8th floor. We wanted to just crack them for some fresh air, but it was too scary! |
| Main advantages: The beds were especially comfortable. The rooms were very clean. The hotel is only one block from a Metro stop and convenient to ATM's on the way there. There are lots of restaurants just across the way. |

| Main advantages: Located in the heart of the city. Excellent transport. Еhe main city attractions are within walking distance or reachable within 10 minutes by public transport. Thete are many restaurants and shops near the hotel. Two night shops in vicinity. WI-FI swift internet in the rooms, which is very convenient. Rooms are clean. Always have fresh linen and towels. The hotel staff is very courteous and willing to help in any question. Hotel Medosz can be recommend to those who need the central location in Budapest at reasonable price. |

| Main disadvantages: Rooms are on the sunny side with no air-conditioning, it was hot during the day even with the curtains, so you need to keep windows open during the night even if it's noisy sometimes (because it is the city center). No real coffee for breakfast, only some surrogate coffee made out of baked chicory root. |
| Main advantages: Location was great, rooms adequate and clean, staff speaks English, good breakfast (buffet) which slightly changes on daily basis (not just typical offer, but also salads, fruit etc) |

| Main disadvantages: There was an old small television in the room which I got in the 9th floor. Unfortunately, there was a power outage during my stay and walking up to the 9th floor wasn't easy. Also, the coffee had no taste or smell at breakfast time. A flavorful coffee is an important part of breakfast for me. |
| Main advantages: The staff was polite and kind. The price is reasonable and breakfast is included. The breakfast is served in a beautiful room and the guests have many things to choose from. The hotel provides free Internet service in the lobby for guests. It was good for me because I had my own laptop. |

| Main disadvantages: It was very hot during my stay, with temps of 35 celsius plus. The room was very hot and stuffy. Some of our group were given fans but there were not enough. I would not stay in this hotel in the height of summer. |

| Main disadvantages: No air-conditioning which was unbearable in the June summer heat! Opening windows was ineffective and just meant for more disturbance as drunks from the surrounding pubs and restaurants seem to congregate in the square across from the hotel at various hours of the night. |
