Main disadvantages: We booked for the Club facilities (which is extra). We usually do this and it includes breakfast, tea and coffee during the day and nibbles and drinks at night. Also free Wifi. We usually find this good value. It also gives us somewhere else in the hotel to relax. I was disappointed in the Club food - other Intercontinentals have fabulous breakfasts, afternoon teat and nibbles at night. We actually ended up going to the normal breakfast as it was much better. The food quality was poor with not much variety. Often at night for nibbles you might get left-over vegetables deep fried in breadcrumbs and fish was often dry. Cakes were pretty much the same. They should look at Intercontinental club food in Hong Kong! or Singapore! Disappointing - don't recommend the club facilities.

Main advantages: The hotel was of the standard one expects of an Intercontinental with good views across the Danube to Buda Castle precinct. Staff were, as usual, unobtrusive, well trained and helpful.

Main advantages: Its best located hoel in budapest with amazing views of river and castle. And right in centre of budapest. U can walk to many places easily. It's a bit 80's style but apart from that perfect. Staff excellent and helpful and breakfast fantastic. Highly recommend and good value compared to other hotels not as well located.

Main advantages: Location ,location ,location. The hotel is nothing special and does not look and feel like a real five star hotel. Nice,but ordinary, would not choose it again, try the Mariott .

Milan Novi Sad, Serbia - Group tour

Main disadvantages: As i have already stayed at this Hotel before, i have been under the impression that it changed significantly in comparison to approx. 4-5 years ago. It seemed to me that it wasn't as luxurious as it has been back then... The facilities looked much smaller than before, especially the Lobby Bar. Also, as i recall, the swimming pool had a glass window overlooking on the Danube river. Now it is not the case, and as much as it has all the subfacilities there you may need, it is all in walls...

Main advantages: The room was situated on the top floor, which gave a chance of a great view- panoramic, you could argue- on the fortress, the Danube river and the Chain bridge.
