Distance to Ferihegy airport is 20 km. A taxi to Ferihegy airport will take approximately 30 minutes.

Public transport to Ferihegy airport will take approximately 90 minutes. Distance to underground station Batthyanyi Square is 500 metres.

Main advantages: I have stayed here several times before and love the view from the hotel rooms. You cannot beat that. The staff is always pleasant and willing to help. The breakfast is always plenty and very good. I look forward to staying at this hotel again.

Main advantages: Lovely big rooms with amazing views of Parliament building. Beds nice and firm-very comfy. Breakfast good choice of cold food plus a few hot options. Nice relaxed atmosphere and helpful staff.

Main advantages: This is one of our favorite hotels anywhere. All rooms overlook the Danube and have large picture windows, night view of the Parliament and lighted bridges is great. Very clean, spacious rooms and bath, great staff, wonderful breakfast, tram stop at the hotel door, subway stop about 4 blocks, free wifi in room. Amazing value, great location in a beautiful city.

Main disadvantages: Can be a little noisy due to the trams passing the front of the hotel.

Main advantages: Best view in Budapest, almost opposite the parliament building and close to the Chain Bridge . Located in Buda overlooking the Danube river. Trams stop outside and it is a short walk to the Metro station and a short walk across the Chain Bridge to the centre of Pest. The popular Castle District is immediately behind the hotel.

Anonymous , - Business trip

Main disadvantages: To begin with for a 4 star hotel, there should be washcloths ( facecloths) and there should be shampoo/conditioner. The room is rather spartan in terms of any amenities which would make it a 4 star experience. Towels are adequate, but no more than 1 towel per person kind of thing. There is no lobby to speak of, so if you are waiting to meet someone, you might as well wait in your room. Finally, the eating and bar area are not 4 star either. Much of the hotel is closed off to the public and if it were opened, there would be places to sit and have a drink. These areas apparently are to be rented for occassions.

Main advantages: The staff was truly helpful and kind. The hotel is clean and well cared for. The views of the Danube and city were superb and you can walk very easily over the Chain Bridge into Pest side of the city. Location was unbeatable! It is a charming hotel that has potential to be an excellent experience but for some missing amenities which I have detailed below.

Main advantages: Friendly staff at the desk providing a good welcome. Wonderful view of the river, the Parliament and the Chain Bridge from our big window. If we return to Budapest we will certainly stay at The Victoria Hotel.
