Travel information

From the Airport:
The Airport Minibus Service takes you directly to the hotel.

From the West Railway Station (Nyugati Pályaudvar):
- Take the underground line 3 towards Ujpest and get off at the stop called Arpad hid.
- From there take the bus number 34 and you will find the hotel right at the stop called Benzinkút

From the South Railway Station (Déli Pályaudvar):
- Take the underground line 2 towards Ors vezer tere and get off at the stop called Batthyany Ter.
- From there take the suburban HÉV train towards Szentendre or Békasmegyer and get off at the stop called Romai fürdö.
- Change to bus number 34 and at the stop called Benzinkút you will find the hotel.

From the East Railway Station (Keleti Pályaudvar):
- Take the underground line 2 towards Déli Pályaudvar and proceed as mentioned above.

Main advantages: The hotel is in Buda, althought is a little far away from the city center, with car or bus/metro is reachable within 25 minutes. The staff is very helpfull, the rooms - superior double, but standard double as well - is confortable, warm and very clean. The breakfast is good, with a lot to choose from. If you like a quite place, near the Danube, with a big garden, lots of trees, then you will like Hotel Alfa Art.

Main advantages: The staff was very frendly and helpful. The place and the veiw of the Danube was amazing. The breakfast was varied, ornate and tasty. I am sure I gladly will go back.

Main disadvantages: It was a little too far out of the city centre to make it worth popping back during the day as we were only using the public bus. Though saying that, the bus stop was right outside the hotel and the staff really helped us get our heads around the best way to use the public transport.

Main advantages: The staff at the Alfa Art Hotel are among the friendliest people you could ever wish to meet. Always ready and willing to assist with any problems or queries, and from what I could hear, in a wide selection of languages too. The food was absolutely delicious, so much so that more than once we decided to eat there instead of finding a redtaurant! Although we didn't make use of it there was a sauna, and we did hire a couple of bicycles for the day and both loved cycling along the side of the Danube to discover some of the beautiful countryside.
