Food & Beverage

After a complete reconstruction the hotel restaurant has been reopened under the name "Oregano" and it will cater for the needs of "á la carte" guests and tour groups. It is also a perfect venue for events and celebrations – by opening it up to the Olympia hall next door it becomes large enough to host balls and formal dinners. The elegant restaurant with a Mediterranean flair does not only offer pasta specialities, but also Hungarian delicacies. “Oregano” awaits guests with delicious food and exquisite beverages.

Together with the adjacent Olympia room it is an ideal place to organize balls, weddings and gala dinners for up to 400 people. Opening hours: 12:00 to 15:00 and 18:00 to 23:00.

The Coffee Shop & Lobby Bar with a Mediterranean atmosphere is ideal for meetings and business lunches. Beside the tasty cakes and excellent coffees, guests may select from the specialties of the restaurant as well. Opening hours: 10:00 to 23:00

Comments

Only well-educated and healthy pets are allowed (not in the restaurant) at an additional cost. The owner is liable for any damages caused by the pet.

Cancellation
If cancelled up to 16:00 on the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.

Main advantages: Good value for money, have a parking with no charge, rooms was good, metro is 20 meters from hotel - this is important because you cant walk to centarbecause it's not close, arena plaza shopping mall is very close (500m).

Main disadvantages: The hotel is excellent, but no Internet connections, only with some prepaid cards who are very expensive 30 minutes for 5 eur.i don't understand why they don't have free WiFi in the lobby, and of course Internet paid in the rooms but at reasonable prices.If you stay on the internet long time, you will pay more like the room price. We are in 2011 - these type of Internet access was at the end of 90's

Main disadvantages: For a 4-star hotel, I expected to find it cleaner, better (re)furbished.

Main advantages: It is very close to the Papp Laszlo Arena. For those attending a concert or any other event organized at the Arena is the perfect choice. It's four metro stops away from the city centre and two tram stations from a very good shopping mall (Arena Plaza) that include a Tesco hypermarket.
