Main advantages: Clean, basic accommodation for a short break, good breakfast, pleasant ,helpful staff. Location great as its just a short walk to Chain Bridge.
My only disappointment was poor tea and coffee tray in room,plastic cups ,no milk and 3 in one coffee mix, I did ask for a proper cup at Reception which they gave .

Main advantages: I am very satisfied with your hospitality. If I have other chances to
come at near future in Budapest I will always select Carlton Hotel.
Hopefully the prices wont be very expensive other times. The price for
the room at that time was fair enough and very good for clients. The
hotel is on perfect place at the center of city, with wonderful staff,
great rooms, and perfect breakfast. Wish you all the best for the work
that Hotel Carlton have done until now.

Main advantages: Great staff, they went out of their way to make us a goody bag at 4:00 in the morning since we didn't have time to eat breakfast. Very close to the chain bridge and all the main attractions. I recommend the restaurant just below. Fast internet.

Main disadvantages: There is no bathroom in the lobby and booking.com website listed it as a room for 4 but we had to pay extra for the 4th person even though it was the same as the 3rd bed. They were foldout chairs that opened to single beds. Also, it was listed a parking available but not that we'd be charged to park.
Main advantages: The location is excellent. Just a block from the Chain Bridge and lift to the Palace. Everything is walkable. The room was comfortable and was a small suite so we had plenty of room for us and our 2 teenagers. There is a small business center in the lobby area so when I booked our city tour online at night I could easily and free of charge print out the receipt. The staff speaks excellent English as most people in Budapest and were very helpful and friendly.

Main disadvantages: The reception staff were not overly friendly.
Main advantages: We liked thw fact that they had a family room so the four of us could stay in a 2 room suite, which was very nice. Also the location was perfect for us. Not on a noisy busy street but close enough to all the activity.

Main disadvantages: It could have been just a little bit cleaner. But for Hungarian standards this was absolutely OK.
Main advantages: The location: 100 steps to the castle. Very quiet and extremely polite and helpful personnel! Have not been treated better in a long long time. There is a closed garrage in the basement - great if u travel by car.
