Main disadvantages: Sadly the "tea lady" (who comes to your room to mix a cocktail before dinner) was not working (we asked on check in and were told the service was operating, when we rang for it from the room the staff had no idea what we were talking about and eventually said the service was suspended over the holidays). However, we had been given a voucher for a free cocktail on check-in so it wasn't all bad. This hotel is very pricey but worth it if you get upgraded to a better room.

Main advantages: Have stayed here before and love it - very happy to have been upgraded on both occasions. If you know the area then it's a great location. The building is beautiful and the rooms are fantastic - a wonderful mixture of modern design and original features.

Main advantages: The hotel is located in a beautiful old building, 7 minute walk from a tube station. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Excellent value for money. Will definitely book again.

Main disadvantages: My only complaint would be that the rooms are rather overheated - we had to open the windows to cool off. This seems to be a common problem in the uk, not unique to this hotel.

Main advantages: Spacious rooms, well set out and equipped. Staff very helpful, and tolerated small children well. Gym and pool facility very nice.

Main advantages: We got upgraded from double room to one bedroom apartment. Welcome drink, hand made chocolate pralines every night, espresso machine in room. Nice bathroom with products from Rituals. Close to subway, Central line.

Main disadvantages: Showers could have been more powerful.

Main advantages: Despite what this says, I booked 1 x Executive 1-bed apartment and 2 x 2-bed apartments. The rooms were stunning and very spacious. The 2-bed apartments were seriously impressive, with mezzanine levels and very stylish. Beds were very comfortable.

Markus Zell am Ziller, Austria - Individual tour

Main advantages: As a travel agent we will recommend the Town Hall Hotel & Apartments to our friends highly. Personally we lilke to point out the comfortable bed/mattress/cover/pillow which made sure we and also our accompanying friends slept exceptionally well. The bathroom and the kitchen were well equiped and left enough space for the rest of the room/apt. We loved also the wooden floor- The were impressed with the renovation/transformation of the Town Hall in a minimalistic style, which left some nice air of the old place. The only critic is that older people woild find it hard just having to rely on the bath and not having the alternative of a seperate shower. The Bar and the restaurant we can recommend also, even we only made it to the upstairs one.

Main disadvantages: 1. Queen size bed is too small. Uncomfortable for use by two persons. 2. Bathroom does not have convenient hangers for towels. 3. Housekeeping staff not vigilent in replenishing shower gel and tissue box.

Main advantages: 1. Location near underground station 2. Good value for a hotel of this quality 3. Efficient, courteous and attentive staff members 4. 1 to 2-room apartments with facilities are ideal for couples and families 5. Nice architecture 6. Well equipped gym and pool

Main disadvantages: Extremely narrow beds. Breakfast was a little bit of a dissappointment, expencive, not too much to select from.

Main advantages: Even though faraway from the city centre, very good connection by nearby underground (directly to Oxford Street). Room/kitchen well equipped. Clean as everything is new. Nice and friendly atmosphere. Quiet hotel.
