Situated in the Swansea Valley in South Wales on the south borders of the Brecon Beacons National Park, we welcome you to a home from home.
We are totally vegetarian and cater for vegans and many special diets. Rooms are specifically screened for those who are electro-sensitive to EMF fields and we use minimal chemicals in cleaning. We have used natural paints in all rooms. We offer a wide range of holistic therapies and personal development courses and health courses. Gower beaches are close by.

The Phoenix Retreat caters for guests who are electro-sensitive. We therefore ask that all guests switch off:
- mobile phones
- laptops
- any radio/Wi-Fi equipment
- satellite tracking equipment.
As soon as they arrive, all guests can use the land line phone in reception after checking with staff.
We also ask that no alcohol or food products are brought in and consumed on the premises. The Phoenix Retreat and grounds are a totally non-smoking environment.
Please be aware that the retreat does not accept credit card cards. We only accept cash or cheque. Please also be aware once you have reserved your room through Booking.com we do not take money from your credit card, we would instead ask you to send a deposit by cheque for half the room rate.

Pets are not allowed.
All children are welcome.
All children under 7 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.
All older children or adults are charged GBP 10.00 per night and person for extra beds.
Maximum capacity of extra beds in a room is 1.
Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 2.
If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

HROS will not charge you any reservation fees for making this booking, nor charge your credit card. You will simply pay for your stay at the hotel.
