| Main advantages: Very welcoming- nothing too much trouble for staff. Accommodation
excellent comforta ble bed and super en suite. Everything v ery clean.
Car parking a bit of a problem if you were not back mid afternoon. Food
very good but would hav e liked more choice of in the dining room. The
Menu is the same every night there is a specials board but that only
changes weekly as well. I would definitely stay here again. R Haw |

| Main advantages: The room was very tastefully furnished. Whilst the room was small it
was comfortable. Breakfast and dinner were excellent. Staff were

| Main disadvantages: It is a complaint in a way and also something that we didn't think worked well,and that was the lighting in the bathroom of Cherry. The main mirror over the basin was too far away and had no direct light over it, and the magnifying mirror on a hinge did not illuminate the mirror and even created shadows. Hopeless for shaving. |
| Main advantages: The staff were friendly and worked very hard; one girl seemed to be on duty from before breakfast through to working in the bar at 10.30pm. I only hope she had some time off during the day. The hotel has character and has been brought into the 21st century quite cleverly. It is obviously very popular with locals as both evenings when we stayed the bar was buzzing. Excellent food although the claim on your website that alll the food is locally sourced etc. is not totally true (as I told the chef whom I happened to bump into), the apples for breakfast was almost certainly imported, which was a shame since you are located in the middle of the best region in the country for eating apples. I also felt that the choice for breakfast, ie. cereals, etc. was poor, although the cooked selection was excellent. |

| Main advantages: The staff was amazing. Really made every effort to exceed. The front
desk agent (blonde young woman) was absolutely great. She, and the rest
of the staff made the stay perfect. I also liked the disign and
originality of the hotel. |

| Main disadvantages: Little things annoyed us somewhat. We were given a fan for the room
which was actually bared wire at the plug. Luckily I noticed this before
plugging it in. I raised the issue with staff and it was quickly dealt
with to our satisfaction.
Also a staff member walked into out room when we were in a state of undress which was embarrassing. Probably more so for herself but in any case we did not make a big issue of it. |

| Main disadvantages: Breakfast service was a little slow, however, this was probably due to
the number of staff on duty (or rather lack of staff) not the quality of
staff, who again were excellent. |
| Main advantages: As mentioned in other reviews it is ideally situated to enjoy the
beautiful Cotswold villages. Our room was very comfortable although the
temperature seemed a little stifling due to the room being at the top of
the building and it being a very warm day, (a large portable fan in each
room may be the answer during summer nights). The breakfast can
certainly be recommended, in particular the full Warwickshire Breakfast,
and the Eggs Royal were also exceedingly good. The staff were extremely
attentive and went the extra mile to be helpful at all times. The George
Hotel was a very pleasant experience and we can highly recommend it. |

| Main disadvantages: There was no water in the shower and my partner sat in the bath and
waited 10mins with shampoo in his hair untill water returned.There was
no proper response by the receptionist. |

| Main advantages: Ideally situated to enjoy the beautiful Cotswold villages. Our room was extremely comfortable with a wide variety of tea/coffee choices for personal use. I can certainly recommend the full English Breakfast, and the Eggs Benedict were also exceedingly good. The staff were extremely kind and helpful. All in all The George Hotel was the best start to our Cotswold experience and can highly recommend it. |

| Main disadvantages: The bathroom was,although well equipped, a bit cramped, particularly the basin with the mirror. Not a big thing, though. |
| Main advantages: We enjoyed staying at The George, because it was a traditional Engish Inn with a nice pub but still modern in its hotel department. Good English breakfast. The situation is also a plus, near to both Stratford/Avon and the Cotswolds. |
