| Main disadvantages: Housekeeping was a little slack perhaps. Probably not enough staff to
keep on top of such things.. Broken bedside lamp bulb in my room and a
kettle that needed holding down to work. Not complaining though! |
| Main advantages: Friendly staff. Quiet room. Love the William Morris/Arts and Crafts
theme, although some might find it all a bit fussy - but it was cosy and
homely to me! Slightly old-fashioned and a nice retreat from the London
bustle. Brilliant spot location-wise. 3 minutes walk to South Ken tube,
taxis and buses galore at either end of the road, and a taxi rank. Very
convenient indeed yet on a relatively quiet street. |

| Main advantages: We enjoyed being immersed in British culture immediately after stepping
through the door. The impecable manners of the staff was refreshing. The
location was amazing, steps away from museums and the South Kensington
tube station. Situated on a quiet street, it was perfect for jet-lagged
travellers. |

| Main disadvantages: Price, thought it was rather expensive. I thought this was because it was a last minute booking, on my return I went on the web site to re book for another trip in August but found it was the same price. Above my budget I'm afraid. |

ventilation. |
| Main advantages: The staff were fabulous, helpful and very courtesous..they went out of
their way to be helpful. The hotel decor was very charming and the rooms
were decorated in a nice fashion. I like that they offered complimentary
ice tea on a hot afternoon. The only complaint that I had was the
pillows were horrible, very hard, and they did not have any better
option. Overall I would defnitely reccomend this hotel as it's location
is fabulous. London hotels are VERYexpensive, so the value in general is
pretty good. |

| Main advantages: The Location of the hotel was excellent, very close to some main attractions in London, also close to the nearest tube station making the rest of London accessible. Also plenty of differnet types of restaurants are within walking distance. |

| Main disadvantages: Only found the tea and coffee facilities the next day as they were hidden in a drawer, as we were only staying one night we did not read the hotel brochure which did mention this. |
| Main advantages: Location was fantastic for The Albert Hall or visiting museums. The hotel had a wonderful comfortable feel, I loved looking at all the paintings and portraits. The staff were really friendly and helpful. My friend and I had a twin room, beds very comfortable and room very clean. I would return to this hotel. |

| Main advantages: The location is perfect for the museums in South Kensington and the
array of eateries in walking distance. Breakfast was very good, with a
good selection. The staff were welcoming and helpful. A very peaceful
hotel, beautiful and different communal areas to relax in with plenty of
interest to look at. Can't speak highly enough and look forward to
staying there again. |

| Main disadvantages: One of the two showers in our bathroom was not working so this was not of significant concern. |
| Main advantages: We were greeted at check in with complementary tea / coffee in the beautifully furnished Victorian style lounge whilst our luggage was taken to our room. The room itself was also furnished in a Victorian style and was very comfortable. Of particular note also is the breakfast room which is delightfully decorated and well laid out. The location of the hotel in Kensington is convenient for local bars and restaurants and is within easy reach of the west end and central London sites of interest. |

| Main advantages: This is the second time I have stayed at the Gallery and I was completely satisfied with everything. My grandson thought the bedroom was marvellous and the breakfasts were great too. |

| Main disadvantages: we checked in late and were hungry therefore tried to get room service using the interline line - pressing the correct number on the telephone was not working and there were no instructions on how to get through - we therefore used our own mobile phone to call reception and were told we needed to dial '9' beforehand - reception did not offer to out us through. We therefore dialled '9'and then room service but again it did not work. We therefore used our own mobile to call recepton again and ordered our food. |
