Clune House is approximately 2.5 hours from Edinburgh Airport; 3 hours from Prestwick Airport; and 1 hour from Inverness Airport.

By Train
There is a train station in Newtonmore and nearby Kingussie. If you need transport from the stations, let Clune House know in advance and you can be picked up. The guest house is located on the bus route, which stops very close by.

Main advantages: The friendly,warm welcome and willingness to meet our need to book in early so we could get changed. Also, a (rare) keeneness to meet our dietary needs - vegan/vegatarian. proprieters are a lovely couple. We'd happily recommend Clune House.

Main advantages: This bed and breakfast was impeccable. Very, very clean. Informative, friendly, kind, and helpful host and hostess helped us plan our activities and mapped out our route. The large breakfast was traditional and superb. Very organized and well-managed. The house and furnishings were well-maintained and comfortable. The room was carefully appointed with many nice details and amenities. A beautifully groomed, polite, and well-behaved border collie was a delight to all. Off street parking was good. We would make a point to stay there again.

Main advantages: The owner, Bruce and Mary, were full of hosipitality and all facility is maintained clean and country style like home. Even thier dog, Hollie welcomed me and i really enjoyed a lot while I stayed their facility.I definitely want to come back the Clune House if I had opportunity.

Main advantages: The owners were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was delicious, the room tidy and the family dog was absolutely adorable.

Main disadvantages: The on suite was certainly on - a shower cubicle in the room and a boxed off toilet - it didn't exactly have privacy

Main advantages: The owners went out of their way to accommodate our dietary requirements especially for the vegan in our party

Main advantages: Mary and Bruce, the owners, were very welcoming and helped us to get the best out of our visit. They kept us up to date with information regarding conditions on the mountain as we were hoping to ski and made helpful alternative suggestions when this wasn't possible on our second day. The children loved it - especially playing with their lovely dog,Hollie and the breakfasts were delicious.
