Main disadvantages: Everything was done for your comfort but it would have been good to
have the food hotter at breakfast. Perhaps a lounge to relax in would
be a bonus.
Main advantages: The hosts were very accomodating and very helpful with ideas of what to
see and do. They also helped with Bus Routes and where to eat. Being
free to come and go as you wish.

Main disadvantages: A bit more shelving or cupboards in the bathroom would have been useful.
Unfortunately, we didn't realise that Chester Horseracing was taking place that weekend, hence the answer below regarding range of hotels - there was very little choice as Chester was booked out!
Main advantages: This was a stop-off point whilst travelling from Scotland back to
Berkshire. The owners were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was
excellent, plenty of choice, lots of it and freshly made. The rooms were
clean and confortable and tastefully furnished.

Main disadvantages: The fact that we only stayed Monday through to Thursday night, wish we'd stayed there until the following Monday.
Main advantages: I don't know where to start! Fantastic welcome, very friendly and helpful owners who went out of their way to make our stay exceptional. Lovely cooked breakfast which was served very quickly, fantastic range available for breakfast. Comfortable beds and a very clean room. B & B in a very nice area close to the city centre and train station. We will be staying here again. 11 out of 10!

comfortable,great choices for breakfast,bus stop outside hotel and five
minute journey into town centre and could park car in grounds

Main advantages: Staff were very helpful and went out of their way to make you comfortable. We were made to feel very welcome. Our room was very comfortable and we felt like we were at home. We will most definitely return in the near future.

Main disadvantages: B&B's are 'quirky' because the owners do things to suit their ownlifestyle. We didn't know this was a b&b so we were disappointed by oneaspect of our stay. At Brooklands guests have to order their breakfastthe day before and say what time they'd want it. Rooms are cleanedbetween 10am -12pm. For some people, including us, part of thepleasure/indulgence of being on a 'leisure' break is not having to danceto some one elses's tune, involving advance decisions commonlyassociated with a mundane working week.
Main advantages: It's clean and warm. Breakfast is good quality and there's good choice.It's a fifteen minute walk into the city centre. There is a good chineserestaurant within 5 minutes walk and also a decent bar at a nearbyhotel, open to the public.
