Main disadvantages: The floor boards outside our room 207 was very creaky, so when people walked by it constantly made creaking noises but other than that we had no complaints. Our daughters stayed in room 63 and their window did not close properly. Otherwise they had a great stay too. Thank you.

Main advantages: I thought that the hotel was good value for money, very comfortable with the leisure facilities and location. The food was excellent, compliments to the chef. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Apart from the odd creaking floor boards, we had no complaints. Many thanks to all the staff that looked after us.

Main advantages: We as a family loved stayin at your hotel as the staff was lovley helped you out as much as they could it was lovley and clean where ever you went close to the city centre the food was amazing we loved our stay

Main advantages: Excellent value for money when booked through booking.com but doubt if we would have paid the full price as this was just an overnight stay enroute to the airport. The restaurant was very good with good outlook at night, though not so good in daylight. The wedding party and the Scotland rugby..under 21's seemed to be having a great time.

Main disadvantages: On returning from a night in town we were shocked to find the place full of Christmas revellers who partied well into the night and loudly. Not the hotels fault it is popular for such events. Only prblem I had was that some party animal threw up right at the reception just moments before we arrived.... The super efficient staff were on it straight away and it was being cleaned before we had even got the the lifts.

Main advantages: The pool and fitness club was inviting and very relaxed. We were very well catered for.

Cliona Mohill, Ireland - Group tour

Main disadvantages: Air in swimming pool was chilly. Food trays left in the coridors outside guest rooms for 24hrs before being taken away. Two false fire alarms, one on Sat morning and one on Sun morning. We noticed that the wheel chair facilities inn the dining room were inadequate (old lady in a wheelchair, no ramp)

Main advantages: Location very handy for Edinburgh. Excellent breakfast. Gym and leisure facilities very good apart from the chilly air in the swimming pool.

Main advantages: we stayed for 2 nights we had a meal in the resturant which was really good and value for money. if there was anything that we needed we only had to ask the staff and we were sorted right away, they gave us a bus timetable so we could use the buses when we needed one and advised us of the shopping areas to visit, we would certainly go back to the hotel.

Main advantages: The staff were all very accomadating nothing was to much trouble if u wanted anything they were always verey freindly the room was clean and tidy the breakfast was deffinatly worth the money we paid I would recomend it to anyone that was looking for a hotel to stay

Main disadvantages: Not quite enough choice at breakfast - could have been more fresh fruit and choice of croissants/pastries as the toast was very tired and luke warm under the warming lights and keeping food warm buffet style is not the best. Would prefer proper toiletries in rooms rather than generic washing products. Wish there had been a jacuzzi in the leisure complex We were actually staying for 5 nights

Main advantages: Good atmosphere, general demeanour of staff who were helpful, friendly, and seemingly interested. Rooms spacious and well designed and large bright modern design of hotel - nice leisure complex
