Newtonmore is situated in the heart of the Cairngorm National Park, surrounded by the Cairngorm, Monadhliath mountain ranges and the River Spey. It is one of the most beautiful areas of the Scottish Highlands. The Highland Folk Museum is 500 metres away.

- Take the M80 to Stirling then the A9 to Perth.
From Edinburgh:
- Take M90 to Perth.
From Perth:
- Take the A9 north for Inverness, then the slip road to Newtonmore (A86).
- We are opposite the Highland Folk Museum, with electric entry gates.
